  1. We know that Honorblades use more Stormlight than a Radiant through a Nahel-Bond. Which implies that it is because of the spren. So maybe the spren, compute on a subconcious state the stormlight and make it much more efficient. That there is less investiture lost during the surgebinding And we know that lightweaving is quiter than other surge binding, like lashing. Is it perhaps because Liespren are that good at mathematics. They seem to be some of the most intelligent radiant spren of shadesmar and because of their higher understanding of mathematics, it allows them to be more efficient with stormlight.
  2. Yeah I know that, but that seems to only track when you use actively use kinetic investiture. So if somebody would not use their magic or their magic is not kinetic like for example a Kandra or they cannot use a form of magic, than seeking is useless. My thought was more like if you put the awakened metalmind inside of somebody and grant them the ability to burn a miniscule ammount of iron inside in your body and the metalmind forces you to do that, than you could be trackend 24/7.
  3. I always imagined Chayshan as a form of battle dance. Similar to Capoeira or maybe inspired to bending from "the last airbender". That by doing certain physical movements they can enact certain abilities or effects into the reality. The basics will probably be the strenghening of phycial attributes but maybe we can even see them create maybe lightning with their dance or something similar.
  4. A lot of modern technologies will be supplemented with investiture technology in the cosmere. So a thought occured to me if we could see in future some form of tracking fueled by investiture. Maybe something along the lines of an awakend metalmind that you can put into the body of somebody and it forces you to burn or something else miniscule ammount of metal in your body, so that a seeker could always find you. Does anybody else have an idea how to make that happen or ideas for investure application.
  5. I had recently thought about Nicrosil-feruchemy. With it you can store your innate investiture inside a metalmind and tap it later. Theoreticly if you are a twinborn you could store your allomantic powers inside of it and when you tap increase your allomantic powers temporary, right? Somebody with a-brass could for example than be strong enough to connect to a kandra. But my thought was, if multible twinborns, all with f-nicrosil came together and used hemalurgic duralumin-spike to remove their own identity and connection without dying, than they are theoreticlly identityless. Now if all of them would fill into metalminds their allomantic powers, these metalminds would be unkeyed. And if they would toss it over to one of their fellas, they could become something similar to Mistborn, but with the ability to tap f-nicrosil-metalmind to make themselfs even stronger. Somebody with double f, could even mutliply the other alomantic abilities manyfold theoreticlly.
  6. We know now that we get multible world books and canon adventures in the RPG. How much heavy lore will be there do you think will be revealed. Because I am bit bumped at how much the books cost and I am not sure if I am ready to pay for little lore. What interests me the most, is the new investiture mechanics that we learn there. Perhaps more abilities of different surges and similar?
  7. Can they perhaps even rip a hole into somebodys soul under the right circumstances?
  8. I wanted to just start a threat for theories about Stonewarden abilities. Mostly interesting is Tension. Tension is for me double sided sword. It was mentioned they can turn clothes into weapons and armor. Bit that seems unnecessery if you get blade and plate. So the question. What else can they do? Can they solidify liquids, like turning water into ice and thereby have some ice powers? Or can they solidify air to make invisible platforms and walls. Or create wind scythes? Can they solidify intangible things like lightning or fire?
  9. We know that the Cytoverse was originally planned inside the cosmere. There are a lot of similarities. Is it possible that its we will get similar teleportation powers like in the cytoverse. That lone individuals have the power to travel distant stars easily? We know that Nomad can do that but only if he has a huge ammount of investiture. Will we see a more economical variation of it?
  10. Is ist possible to awaken something like water? Or Magma? or maybe even intagible things like wind and light?
  11. I thought recently how you could maybe make a venom build in the Cosmere. But it needs to be a combination of a few multible magic systems. 1. You need access to emotional allomancy. Ether brass or zinc. 2. You need access to allomantic duralumin (or feruchemical nicrosil. As I believe if you tap investiture from a nicrosilmind that you already have, it makes your own art stronger.) 3. You need to take control of a kandra and control it. This one is a bit tricky. For one you need to find one and second and its not entirely clear how much you can control a Kandra. But if it is Kandra without a boost of emotional fortitude or intelligence, I think it should be possible. 4. Now you command it to envelope yourself and form a version of muscle suit. Now you are halfway theri. Theoreticlly you have now a self regenerative armor that strenghens your body possibly. Maybe has a few other abilities as well. But you are still missing the ability to create tentacles and extend your limbs like venom. And Kandra have problems to support themself without a hard substance. 5. So you need an aether-bound with Verdant I presume. Now you can create green strong vines that the Kandra Muscles can wrap around for strengh. 6. Bonus points if you use mutlible Kandra or multible Blessings to make your suit stronger. 7. And you can store things like blades and plates to make claws and teeth for your suit. It may be unethical to do all that. But hey you are Venom after all.
  12. Well most of them were Seeker. So they had double bronze but not double copper. So do you think they can pierce their own coppercloud if theoreticlly their bronze is stronger than their copper.
  13. As I understand correctly, if you make coppercloud, nether someone else nor you can sense another alomancer inside your own coppercloud. (I am not entirely sure if you can sense someone outside it, as it could shield that as well) But Inquisitors could in most cases pierce other copperclouds. Now can they pierce their own coppercloud as well? I would say yes as well, because it should function similar as the any other coppercloud, as in most cases their bronze should be stronger than their own copper. Now, could 2 inquisitors that do not have an overlappig coppercloud, use their bronze to send secret messages? Could they burn/flare metals in maybe morse code, that the other Inquisotor could sense but not a normal seeker?
  14. So something like a charged allomantic granate would be capable?
  15. The way the border of speedbubbles function, I think is interesting. Could you stop winds with that and can remain in a storm outside? Or in space opera age. If a spaceship has breach, could sou stop the air suction with a well placed speed bubble?
  16. I am currently in the middle of Skyward and a question came up to me. How do the ships work? Or more important how are they fuelled. Normally I would brush it off but Sanderson is known for his hard magic. Will it be explained?
  17. Kelsier-form. If Kelsier would bond with a Parshman instead of nailing himself to his body. He would take over the body and could potentially get Surgebinding, something that I think he cannot because of the spike mostly.
  18. While it will be a very long time until we see the end, we can still theorize or hope how the ending will look. My personell favourite is that the last scene will be how we switch other to Hoid how he sits in front of publicum or any listener and starts with something like: "Let me tell/sing you a story from a long time ago", which eludes to the cosmere as a whole and we get the impression its directed at the reader. (Or if Kaladin becomes a full fledged therapist with a spin of story teller as it is eluded in SA4, than perhaps him in the position.) I know its kinda cliche and perhaps old fashioned but I love a classical story teller at the end of a story.
  19. Could Kelsier as a shadow, without a body theoreticly become a shardblade? if Seons could theoreticlly and Kelsier without a body is very similar to a spren, than perhaps he could too?
  20. This gives me the idea, that if you could pair a healing power for example "regrowth/growth" with an external intent or identity. Could you theoreticlly enforce your intent on the healing progress of a person that you heal and give them for example cancer?
  21. It kinda feels like an interesting thought.
  22. Hi wanted to start maybe a threat for the new chapter that Sanderson read during comic-con, if it is allowed. It was focussed on Shallan and we saw some interactions between Shalan, Adolin, Kelek, Notum and Testament. And we got 2 new big revelations.
  23. But my point why he bonded a spren in general but why specifilly bond with a liespren. If he wanted soulcasting, then Inkspren are considered probably even better. Especially with the surge of transportation, which is a realy great power.
  24. I recently had a thought about the nature of Hoids bond. It always baffled me why Hoid bonded with a Liespren as he already has lightweaving abilities. Yes they work differently and could compliment each other but it still felt like a loss. But when I read the order descriptions from #saythewords I saw that Lightweavers are different from the other orders, in that, that they do not speak oaths (except the first) and say truths. Which makes them quite unbounded by restrictions like other orders. And Hoid deliberatly decided not to get a Shard as it would chain him in ways that the others did not see. He did not want to be bounded by things. What do you think?
  25. Basically my question. For example through Hemalurgy or maybe as a mutation like people having 6 fingers. Or maybe if your gemheart split from injury. Could you than have multiple forms?
