The Order Of WorldBuilders

35. In fact, centuries ago, they had begun a crusade to scourge all dairy from the world, because the simply could not tolerate it. Even a single drop of milk was met with great prejudice, and cows were widely considered to be demons. -
I have not, but I don't really like crisp pretzels, and dough pretzels seem like they would not go as well with ranch dip. When the Stormlight Archive (and the Cosmere in general) is eventually adapted to film, would you prefer it to be live action or animation?

The court of Faerie is a rather well-established part of the fantasy genre, so I think I can justify my presence here...

If I was in class, I wouldn't be allowed on the Shard, so no. TPBM speaks more than one language. -

Is that a Sanderson reference?!?!?!?!
Faerie Braids replied to Hmmm lies's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
I started a cult today. Must be a Kelsier reference... -
I don't want to edit and retype my most recent written project in socials. I don't want to complete my current events work booklet. I don't want to memorise the 20-odd new terms and ideas I learned in bio today. I don't want to brainstorm topics for a research project that will be worth 20% of my mark. I don't want to work on the hour-long presentation I will be making for careers in a few weeks. And, even though I love theatre, the fact that the most intense period of rehearsal for the school musical lines up exactly with the first semester this year that I only have academics makes me not want to practice the vocals and choreography at home. All I really want to do is reread The Final Empire, which I began on New Year's Eve, and have yet to finish, due to homework and required reading. The only answer to all of this, of course is PROCRASTINATION! (Also, I love math )

I love Dune, and the artistic style and arrangement of this piece is excellent. It also crops nicely! / -

This pineapple (whose existance remained unconfirmed) was named Penelope (according to questionable sources), and was the sole surviving heir to the Pineapple Throne (citation needed).- 111810 replies

Sabotage is always a good option... (For legal purposes, this is a joke) Otherwise, I suggest bringing some equally awkward friends, if possible. Surviving dances is always more bearable in groups.

The Longest Thread (Misadventures)
Faerie Braids replied to ElephantEarwax's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Historians would later suspect that the sheer density of confusing homophones employed during the competition had resulted in mass hysteria, anarchy, and total social collapse, but it could not be proven, as all the primary sources on the subject had died.- 111810 replies

That's not a dish! That's a beverage! To continue with the dad jokes, did you hear the one about the one-foot-tall tyrant?

The Person Below Me

Pretty much the opposite, actually. I am not perfect by any means, but when it comes to memorization, I have a mind like a steel trap. TPBM lives on an island. -

Hello, and welcome to the Shard! What is one of your favourite moments in the Cosmere, so far? -
Fish, Fish, Fish, and Starfish fishily fished some fish-tasting 17th Fish creepyfish out and safely dropfished their fishy pufferfish because sentient catfish sniffed their rotten fish-shaped fish tanks.

I think the one that bothers me the most is that half a decade has passed since 2018. I read my first Comere novel in 2018! *shudders* (Also, the fact that I am surprised to have done anything for so long likely betrays my youth, but consider this to be my official introduction to the Non-Adult Club)

Granted. You alway interpret metaphors, idioms, and allegories incorrectly. I wish to only need four hours of sleep per night. -
