  1. I was flying my own F-22 from the other direction, and you slam into it full force as I am flying it low to the ground. I grab the sandwich, wave my fingers, and teleport it to Canticle. *ahem* I'm going to be careful not to spoil any TSM stuff.
  2. The second dark haired person to have posted on here. Which means... @Immortal Platypus is now the leader of the cult!
  3. Sorry but I saw this and just had to share:

    1. The Bookwyrm

      The Bookwyrm

I remember the old days where @The Wandering Wizard used to do that.

    2. Edema Rue

      Edema Rue

      Aww he did…

we sound like old people sitting on a porch in a western movie.

    3. Just-A-Stick
  4. The start of the second one is Let It Go from Frozen lol. Really good though!
  5. Well, during the day it's a feat but at night nine hours is pretty standard. The longest I went was almost two years before I made a 17th Shard account. Now one day without losing the Game is a record.
  6. I can't go a single hour without losing the Game again...
  7. Rye stood still, his mind completely emotionless. What had he become? He slowly looked down at his hands, which were a sickly grey. His arms were riddled with bullet holes that he couldn't even feel. Somewhere, he felt something. His oathstone had been destroyed in an explosion. Some lucidity, barely enough to think, trickled into his brain. Rye began walking. Walking for hours without pause. He couldn't feel fatigue, so it didn't matter. He walked until he reached a desert. A lone temple stood. He entered, and kept walking. Walking through complex halls, ignoring traps, until he made it to the center of the crypt. The shimmering waters of life awaited. He stumbled over, but tripped on an F-22 that was there for some reason and fell into the pool. He felt pain, and screamed as his nerves began working again. His wounds healed quickly, luckily. His skin turned back to its natural tan, and he could finally think again. He jumped out from the waters, newly invigorated and no longer undead. He hopped into the F-22, no longer worrying about his PTSD from when he'd died flying one of them, and flew out of the temple, crashing through the roof and into open air. "To the sandwich," he said. edit: this is my 100th post, yay!
  8. i SuPpOse, on the bright side, getting pinged by someone here means they consider themselves friendly with you. Because pinging someone you are completely unfamiliar with would just be weird. Of course, there's a limit to how friendly you can be with people online because, y'know, you can't see their faces. You're not interacting in real life. But it's still a worthy substitute.
  9. Black. What was the last thing you ate?
  10. Okay, hear me out, I know I already made one of these, but that was just for one book. I think I made a bit of a mistake there because I've written a lot more than The Dungeon King. So here is another writing thread for the rest of my stuff. Sorry! This is the prologue from the book I'm writing right now, called The Colonus. It's set in the Byzantine Empire at the start of the Middle Ages. *warning for violence and mild language
  11. "Kurtis! Yes, yes, I remember now. Yes, typically people hire me as a scout, y'know, with all the (sort of) flying stuff. Sorry I was so late!" "Wind mastery... well... other Alma users can connect, divide, or manipulate air, but only an air elemental, a djinn like myself, can master it." Wyldri concentrated, then gathered the nearby air at her feet and launched herself ten feet into the air. "I can't go much higher than this, but it is a useful ability. Did you know that the first person to accurately map the world, before the Haki of course, was a djinn? Just a fact."
  12. We lose the game EVERY DAY and every time we go into FGaRS.
  13. Glof has a brother named... Prof... Who really likes limes and light.
  14. I do so. @Through The Living Glass I ate your pizza without permission.*flees*
  15. I don't know about everyone else but at least in California "sticker" also refers to those little spike ball plant thingies that get stuck in your socks, so you get those instead. I wish I was a Slider.
  16. That is true, although my sister has definitely read more. TPBM shares a room with someone.
  17. My oathstone rolls in front of Vyzkel as I sit patiently waiting for orders.
  18. "Oh, really?" asked Wyldri with some surprise. She tried to remember what Kavra had told her. Arikus did have a son, but he wasn't spoken of often. What was his name? It starts with a K... "Kartis, aren't you?" Wyldri shook his hand. Something was off about him, but she had no clue what. "I was just thinking about the possibility that a Dryad created this jungle," she replied. "It definitely wasn't here before; I remember. There was one... On another note, did any of you guys encounter those thugs back there? My arrows didn't even faze them, much less my wind mastery. I ended up having to use my.. Other skill set." She shivered, remembering their screams as they melded with the ground, becoming stone. She rarely used Alma merging.
  19. If this were actually in the book I don't think I'd notice.
  20. OK GUYS, SO CHAPTER 9 IS SUPER LONG. LIKE, SUPER LONG. So I'm going to split it into two parts. It's also probably my favorite along with Chapter 10. Oh yeah, and it has one of the few parts where the POV character shifts. CHAPTER 9 (part 1):
  21. It worked in the movie, but wasn't it in wine?
  22. I casually necromance the Assasin back to life and we both stand motionless watching One of the Ten Fools being one of the ten fools, as the Sandwich gets teleported back to @Anguished_One's house. Everything for multiple miles around it has been flattened by various F-22s.
  23. You are now a tin misting. Also, RIP Thaidakar, founder of this cult.
