So what about stormlight stores in spheres? If I have enough stormlight I can just compound whenever I need luck.

... so that means feruchemists can compound using Stormlight. Just right off the top of my head that seems absurdly overpowered. If you want to allow it I won't complain but consider this: stormlight from alleystorms allows a feruchemist to draw power from it, but only in normal amounts, so stormlight replaces direct storage of traits. I cant compound but I dont have to store traits as long as I have stormlight. Again just a suggestion, easily worked into the magic system. If you want to keep it Cosmere canon I get it, just beware of absurdly fortuitous... everything from Frisian. Also mind if I friend you on discord?

Question about the alleystorms: are they totally third party; the Investiture is unkeyed, or are they just Highstorms, and therefore keyed to Honor and Cultivation? @Koloss17

Okay, let me set the stage. The alleyverse is a planet in which all planets of the cosmere exist together. Scadrians, Rosharans, Nathalians, etc. Every so often, there is an event called the alleystorm that is seperate from normal highstorms in its nature and origin, which refills Investiture in a similar way to a highstorm. Mainly in that it refills stormlight, like a highstorm. The stormlight is concievably unkeyed, so therefore I would be able to use it for compounding? I understand that purified, unkeyed Investiture is required for something like this, but at the storm originates on a third part planet that's purpose is purley for the interaction of different Cosmere characters.

So you're saying that I can't directly refill a metalmind with stormlight, because that power comes from myself (this is a character for the Alley verse btw), but I can simulate drawing that power from stormlight by compounding. Because from what he said, I can use stormlight to compound. So... I can put power in, and then use stormlight to compound, using the stormlight to fuel the feruchemy. Is that right?

So, highstorms refill Investiture, as shown by the fact that gemstones are refilled when left out in them and Radiants like Windrunners can fly indefinitley as long as they're close to the storm. However, I have a question about refilling other forms of Investiture, specifically feruchemical metalminds. How would other Investiture users be benefitted by highstorms? Would a metalmind be at all refilled by one? What about other Scadrian forms of Investiture?

Apologies for the double post, but I have a question. For a Radiant/Feruchemist, how would the alleystorm refill investiture? I assume giving the Radiant a decent amount of stormlight, but how about the metalmind? Refilling it a set amount? Or to the highest point it's been at recently? Or not at all? Again, sorry about the double post.

Frisian knew what game they were playing. Or he hoped he did. All he had to do was keep a confident face... and use his secret weapon. Inside he was chafing. He hated to have to play these foolish games. They merely impeded his grand visions. But he had made an oath. He put on a confident face. "Fine. If I get to choose, then I choose the ring toss." He points to a game where a hundred glass bottles are lined up on a table, and the goal is to toss a ring onto one of the tops of the bottle. He strode over and bought ten tries. "Ten throws each. Whoever gets more points wins." It wasn't a question. Then, Frisian tapped fortune. Not a ton, but enough to score a rather impressive score of 20.

Frisian pulls to a sharp halt. He glares at Asylum, who smiles back at him. "Talamar, is she right?" he asks. the spren forms back into his human shape. "I'm afraid so, Frisian. I had been planning to warn you once you'd landed, but..." Frisian looks down at Asylum. "Fine. What deal do you want to make?" He cancels all of his upward lashings except for a one-quarter lashing to slow the fall.

I don't know if a shardblade counts...? Besides that, a metalmind that pierces his skin, a hemalurgic spike, and metals buttons on his coat. He is familiar with Scadrian magic systems, however, so the buttons are only for show. The coat also has a set of wooden buttons beneath and reinforced padding to defend against allomancers using his buttons against him. It's not super extensive, however, so a skilled allomancers would still be able to leverage them.

Frisian looks at the hand. He doesn't have time for this. Where would his grand visions go if he was playing the lottery with some petty criminal. He shakes his head. "Okay," he tells Asylum. He grabs her hand, then instead of shaking it, lashes them into the sky with himself. As they shoot upward, he gets a firmer grip on they're arms so Asylum can't wiggle out. "You are a lot less trouble that I'd assumed," he says.

Frisian dives toward his prey. When she dodges, he's so stunned that he crashed right into a crowd of people. "Storm it!" he shouts. He summons Talamar as a blade, frightening the people into clearing out for him. He looks around for Asylum. There! He dismisses the blade and charges forward.

Maybe. What did you name your left pinky finger?

Frisian scans the crowd, trying to move erratically and randomly, as if he were a bird.. "Frisian!" a voice calls. "Talamar! What did you find?" "I think I found them." "Asylum?" "See that crowd down there? All moving in the same direction?" "What, Asylum's with them?" "No, they're carrying them!" Not wanting to waste a moment, Frisian dives towards the crowd using a double lashing. This would be easier than he thought. @Stormlightsong
