  1. There is a red country on your map named Ja, could that be where Autonomy seeded their religion for a future invasion of Scadrial. Ja reminds my of Jaddeth, which is the Selish avatar of autonomy. I have the privilege to be, your obedient A. Ham.
  2. Similar thing with Atium I think. You instinctively know what you would have learned while burning it.
  3. It would most likely use all available stormlight, for example a heatrail would have a huge outburst of heat that could cause burns. I would imagine it would act this way. Resist, maybe. Conduct? That seems like a property of Raysium. How does it react? I've neverheard anything about that.
  4. They obtain Voidlight by singing the Song of Prayer, essentially drawing Odium's attention to grant them Voidlight. Venli comments about this interaction in RoW. They haven't thought of it, due to large societal fear of storms. Only Dalinar has braved the storm, and that was in a stormshelter majority of the way through a storm. It woulld be possible don't get me wrong, but some may see it as suicidal and resist.
  5. They do feel like this, maybe they had a fabrial built into the ship and you input the Harmonium in to fuel it.
  6. Was he using Hemalurgy? I thought he was making his metalminds immune to Alomancy.
  7. I think that after millenia Vorinism developed a focus on warfare, to prevent human extinction. He influenced it, but more by being there than actively changing doctrine.
  8. Windrunners and Skybreakers and partially Lash themselves or objects to have a fraction of the normal pull in any direction. Could this be applied to other Surges? The Surge of Abrasion can remove all friction, and can be described as ice skating, but I feel that if you simply reduce friction when you swap to the other foot, you can move more naturally. But what other Surges can we apply this to, and how would it work? Soulcast half a tree for a cool visual effect?
  9. This feels like the theory that if you put a heavily connected person you can move them between planets. Hopefully it permanently severs it or the like. I love the Scadrian phrase "pinch of copper." I just makes me love Sanderson's tiny details. Is this like how sugar can be dissolved in water? How do you get the Investiture out of the air. And how is it so dangerous. Did I miss a book?*hope in my voice*
  10. Anyone with access to this has so many paths open, increased Allomancy or power Soulstamps, so how do we get it. 1. Get to Sel's CR safely, and set up a base of operations a good distance from danger. 2. We somehow need to split off a bit of power and contain it. How would we do that?
  11. Have you ever toasted starbursts over a fire?
  12. It could also be that Kaladin was constantly thinking he wasn't good enough to protect people, and the story made him accept that fact
  13. I didn't realize there were connection shenanigans. I simply thought the Riina had the Aon and that let her use it
  14. Aons decrease in power the farther you are from Elantris, because the city is an aon amplifying other Aons. Could you just draw it on a metal plate and overcome that issue?
  15. When I left there was Narration and Wither blades and stuff
  16. I think this could work WoB You are converting one power to another, which aligns with how Feruchemy works in my opinion. As long as you have had the metalminds for long enough you might be able to do this.
  17. The leaves you are standing on give way as you are launched into the air and I pick the Sandwich and run off
  18. Granted, you always realize you forgot something 3/4 of the way through the trip I wish to be able to make a lightweaving of the book I'm reading so I bet the best possible version of the book (details of the book and special effects of movies)
  19. My siblings would play these while we did the dishes, so it holds a special place in my heart
  20. Social experiment: Hemalurgy is ethical. Respond with your opinions
  21. The current ways to gain allomancy are Lerasium, Hemalurgy, birth, Forgery, and maybe Aons. Could you do something similar to the Naheal bond, by Splintering Preservation and bonding a Splinter. It would take time for them to be perceived in this way but it could work theoretically
  22. What's even happening on TLT? Haven't kept up with it very well
  23. Division seems to match what Nightblood can do, and Adhesion might be what you are thinking of. The Coppermind leaves out the fact that Adhesion manipulates vacuums. This should have the same effect.
  24. This does make sense, thanks! I think the main reason the Honorblades worked is that strong sources of Investiture resist the suppression (Investiture resists Investiture) and Honorblades are maybe pure Tanavastium but maybe some of Cultivation in it
