    My writing group met last night. After the regular activities, we watched The Princess Bride. Over the course of the movie, my girlfriend and I went from sitting next to each other to full-on cuddling. It was great and I love her so much:wub:

      You should. The second* season is, while different from the books, very, very good.

      *only certain episodes from season one are good. But so far, all of season 2 has been much, much better than season one. Especially the most recent episode

    I thought for sure that LTT was gonna seize total control of Rand in that moment. That's pretty much the Asha'mans whole deal. My thought on Jordan's style of writing fights is that it was heavily influenced by his experiences in the Vietnam War, much like how Tolkien was heavily influenced by what he saw in World War One. Both of them tend to write battles that showcase incredible brutality and destruction.

    My girlfriend and I are both part of the same writing group. None of whom know we're dating. We're not gonna tell them when we meet next Saturday, either. They'll just have to figure it out

      writing groups... heck, I should join one of those.

      Well, my group hasn't met since she and I started dating. She was invited to the group in August, I asked her out a few days later, and now it's been a month since the group has met and, as far as I know, none of the other members are aware that we're dating.

      And yes, you should join a writing group. They are extremely helpful.
