The bird is hungry. He vomits black goo on Evan, screeching and demanding food.

Oran arrives at the gym at the crack of dawn. There is a tent nearby that is probably his and he's sitting outside of the tent in a lawn chair watching some pancakes get cooked on a battery powered skillet while watching Poketube on his rotom phone 13 pro Max.

"Squark!!" The bird lands on Evan's head and begins pecking. Evan can feel a pulling in his gut almost like the bird is offering something.

The bird follows. Maybe the tasty smelling man has a treat.

The sudden movement startles the bird making it flap a ways away onto a nearby tree branch.

The bird regurgitates a black goopy substance onto the ground next to Evan before landing on the ground. The black goop then becomes a black goopy facsimile of an apple which the bird attempts to eat before it dissolves.

Oran is surprised by this invitation but seems happy too "Ok, will do! See you tomorrow!" Oran runs backwards in the opposite direction waving to Cash.

Oran looks a bit bummed but heals up Spark a bit before walking over to Cash offering his hand out "Nice job, you really had me all the way through. We didn't stand a chance. You'll definitely win against the gym here for sure."

Spark resists the branch poke and doesn't take much damage but she seems like she's struggling to fly "Spark, come on. One more ember on Phantump!" Spark pushes through the paralysis and heat builds up in her system as she blasts fire out of her beak.

The last thing Casper says before he dies is "Hi dad." and then he's gone.

Casper gasps as he feels his arm break and then, he feels a piercing pain as he's stabbed in the back. Casper screams out in pain as he has one last burst of adrenal strength and wrenches away from Berin and crawls away only to collapse again in pain.
