    Hate to break it, but I don't believe in the LDS church or currently any religion atm. I haven't told anyone and I'm too afraid because I fear judgement, but because I only have one year left before I move out, I'll just stick to pretending I'm still a part of the religion for my parents and friends in high school. I have many reasons as to why I no longer believe, and I don't think any convincing can bring me back. I just don't see any of the religious texts as credible anymore at all, so quoting them won't help either. I sound close minded, but the reason why I left was because I considered both sides of the argument being that Christianity and the Mormon church is true vs untrue.

    SAME LMAO. The movies weren't that boring, but the books were- that's the first time I've said the movie was better than the book! I just don't understand the hype surrounding LOTR, I mean the prose is quite good though. I mainly have acquaintances, but I wish I had more close friends. I'm an extrovert so maybe not a smaller circle at that expense either. TPBM likes Mistborn over Stormlight

    Ahhh yes. BUT I did recently start driving finally and I'm eligible to get my license in another 4 months! TPBM has read the Lord of The Rings but didn't think much of it

    Time has been moving pretty quickly today, but yesterday it felt incredibly slow cuz work. TPBM ate a hamburger within the past week

    I'm officially a senior in high school now yay! I got off school early an hour ago because I'm finished with all my exams :)

    I got a 1240 SAT score! *I'm ok at math, but unironically good at language, so this is a good score for me (somehow I still managed to do good in math)

    Nope but guess what? I just took the knight radiant quiz: It's SO close! I'm thinking of converting to Willshaper or re-taking it because I feel more like a Willshaper. Do you guys think I should convert? Edit: I converted

    xD. I'm honestly pretty old too for my family since I'm 17 and the youngest is 0 and the second to oldest is 13, so my case is somewhat special. Oh and the only sister I have is the 0-year-old. Edit: ahhh yest RoW. I just finished that after a couple months of reading. Maybe I'll read some Warbreaker instead?

    My brothers were apparently going through my books yesterday while I was at tennis practice and now I'm annoyed. I think one of them may have taken a copy of Mistborn HoA since it's missing. I tried to ask my second to oldest brother (13) if he'd seen one of them take it, but he said "No. Deal with it geek." My bookshelf is also completely disorganized

    Reading Status Update 1.5: I forgot to mention that I'm additionally reading the Harry Potter series for the first time, and I'm in the middle of the Chamber of Secrets. So far I love how the story is going. I know I'm a bit late, but I haven't gotten around to reading it because my LDS parents are understandably lenient from the things they heard about the series online, pertaining to a concern that your kid will be delusional after reading it :lol:. It's practically been like any other fantasy/YA fantasy book that I've read so far. Whatever <_<

    I know this forum hasn't been talked on, but I thought this would be worth sharing: Soooooooooooooo my brother is starting to read Stormlight for the first time, and he's only 11. I tried to warn him that it's an adult book with heavier topics and themes, and that he might want to start with those kids books Brandon Sanderson previously wrote, but he insisted on reading Stormlight. I believe it's because people at his school have this thing where you're "cool" if you read large books, but whatever this should be interesting.
