we swept the ENTIRE comp
our prep group won first
we won first
our varsity group took grand champs
we won every single caption award except best vocals, best crew, and there was one other but i can’t remember
(this means we got best band—actually twice—best choreo, best visuals, one of our soloists got best soloist, etc)

He grinned, feeling victorious. He loved the way she read, the nuance in words, like she was actually there with the characters. It made it all feel real.

18 hours is too many
i am so tired and it’s been so long since we performed and awards are in like 30 minutes and then we can go back to the hotel

i am still exhausted
but i don’t really feel like going back to sleep
i’m low-key kinda hungry tho
