    it's ok lol She flushed and muttered 'thanks' underneath her breath. Then she tugged him forward and the rest of the way across.

    Corysande took hold of Holt's free hand and tugged him along. A rasping scream echoed among the cacophony of wails, piercing through the phantom sound of rushing water. She swore and started running. Her foot slipped.

    "Be careful, Holt!" Cory reached her hand out to slow him down.

    She started them across the bridge. Almost immediately, souls grabbed onto the edges of the bridge and tried to haul themselves up, reaching for Holt and Kohei. Corysande hissed at them, and a few recoiled. Others kept clawing.

    when i was five or six

    my parents drew mustaches on us with eyeliner when we were asleep

    and we woke up and i legitimately thought we had all grown mustaches ._. 

    a couple years later

    my older brother and i made a stink bomb and planted it in my parents' bathroom

    it was so great cuz for DAYS they couldn't figure it out

    and then i sneakily removed it and they never knew until several years later when i was like "yeah so that was actually a stink bomb"

    so yes lol

    guys i’m so stressed and i’m freaking myself out and i wanna cry

    i just did my audition for show choir next year

    um

    it did not go great

    im trying to work on my art project to distract myself but mom’s making me do my chores first but it’s already 6 so i’m not gonna get that done probably cuz i have to clean my room and do some other stuff 

    my spanish teacher said spanish honors society applications were due on FRIDAY but apparently they were due today and so now i missed the window for that

    there are ants in my bathroom

    theres just a lot going on and my anxiety levels are very high and i’m so stressed out rn and trying not to cry so um

    AND WE SCUDDING HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL FRIDAY TO GET THE LIST

    better go work on my room ig so i can do some work on my art project and hopefully decompress a little bit

    She led them to the chasm’s edge and stopped in front of it, resting her hand on some invisible railing or something. “Don’t let them touch you.”

    She sighed, then started forward through the fire he'd left behind and waved the boys after her.

    okay wait hold on Corysande became frustrated. "You don't have any ground here. You can't do anything to us. We're under Hades' protection. So get." he won't be able to do anything to them

    Corysande turned to Nemesis. "We're going to leave now. You're not going to follow us. If you do, I'll have Hades take care of you." @Bird Furious scuddit you ninjad me

    oh i thought it was the goddess xD "How'd you get here?" She glared sharper at him.

    "Hades lives up north. We'll have to walk for a day or so to get to him." Cory narrowed her eyes. "Nemesis. Long time no see."

    "We'll see." She sighed through her nose. She led them down a hall and to a seemingly dead end. She placed her hand against the rock, though, and after a few moments, a blinding light seeped through the rough surface. Holt and Kohei w would have to look away. And then the light exploded, and the wall was gone. They stood at the mouth of a huge, eternal cavern, magnificent and dark but somehow bright all at once. A huge, ghostly chasm stood before them, endlessly deep and haunted by the sound of rushing water. Faint wails could be heard, echoing around the space, which was really too large to be called a cavern. It had to go on for miles. There were people, too, but none acknowledged them, and they were all eerily discolored. Their skin was almost grey, eyes pale and empty. They went about meaningless, mundane tasks. There was singing somewhere in the distance. Corysande turned to them. "Welcome to the Underworld."

    It was a long, long way down. But then the stairs ended abruptly, and a stagnant coolness settled over them. The air was vaguely misty, as if they were standing in a cloud.

    "Let's go," Corysande said eventually, standing suddenly. She led them out of the rest area, closed it, and started back down the stairs again. It was warm, and as they descended, it grew hot.
