  1. No. Also no. My dragon. Hmm…I’m sick, but other than that pretty good Oo…AWW WHAT EXCLUDING WOT?? Like in a room where I’m with them, or just some random room somewhere
  2. *hugs* I don’t know how I can help, but…we love you Elf. Hold on, okay? There are angels you can’t see who care for you, I promise. Hold on. Don’t give up your hope. Breathe through this moment, because you are so much stronger than it. Tomorrow will bring new wonders if you can just get through today, and the next today, and all the todays that will come before a beautiful tomorrow finally arrives. We’re here.
  3. Y’all something interesting happened today. So, I’m going on a performing arts tour to NYC in…10 days. Choir and band are both performing multiple times, but theatre isn’t performing at all, so we basically get to go see a bunch of shows on Broadway. I have friends who will be seeing…6 shows? Woah that’s a lot. Anyway, something got messed up with the schedule, and today they said that the theatre students have to make a choice. We can either go to an LDS sacrament meeting and the 9/11 memorial, or we can go see Sweeney Todd. A lot of you probably don’t know what that is, but it’s a fantastic musical. And a really, really dark musical. I already made this choice once for this trip. I had the option to see Six on a Sunday, and I decided not to. It kills me inside, though, because most of my friends are going to choose Sweeney Todd, even religious ones. It’s one thing that happens so much in Utah; people who claim to believe in and love the same God that I do are just…well, following their families. Because so many people are religious here, it’s not as much of a personal choice to care. And it hurts to care, sometimes, especially when you have to avoid things you love and watch others enjoy them without seeming to have any bad results (be it things you choose to do on Sunday, books you choose not to read, music, or so many other things). Anyway, I made that same choice again. I knew it was what I was going to do, but…it hurt a lot more than I thought it would. But then I realized something. I didn’t make this choice for me. I probably won’t get anything out of the sacrament meeting, and they’ll probably love the show. But this is a choice I make for God. It’s a choice I make now so that when harder choices come up later, I can make them knowing what comes first. And it’s a choice I make to show Him that He is what matters most to me. …sorry this got way longer than I thought it would, but uh moral of the story, when you recognize that you’re doing things for God rather than yourself, there is a whole new meaning to them, and it makes sacrifices that you would otherwise regret completely worth it.
  4. “It’s ok, it’s ok,” he said, smiling kindly. “I was joking. Mostly. But we’ll be all right.” They turned a corner, and suddenly the bustling mess hall was in front of them. “Have any of you ever tried chouta?” @Weaver of Lights

  7. Another parachute floated gently to the ground in front of Roy. @RoyalBeeMage
  8. Tal laughed. “It’s ok. I just met him a few minutes ago, but he…seems nice? He might be a cursed human. You never know.”
  9. “All right then, to the mess hall?” Tal started walking.
  10. It’s a jar of soup. A faint voice on the breeze seems to say, “I’m sorry I can’t do more…”
  11. As she walks, a small parachute with a jar floats from the sky.
  12. “Welcome,” Tal said, giving her a friendly handshake. “Would you like a room? Addison and I were just going to get some food, if you’re hungry. Oh and this…” he looked at the hawk on his head. “Is Trevor?” @Weaver of Lights @Spark of Hope
  13. Happy birthday!!!

  14. "That's all right!" Tal says kindly. "You're welcome here anyway. Do you have a name?"
  15. Tal snorted. "I'd rather be bored than dead. Besides," he added with a wink, "there are plenty of books here."
  16. Tal shrugged. “No, especially not since Cal…well. There haven’t been many problems since Kaos last year…the Clinic is the safest place there is.”
  17. “Ah…” he shrugged. “Destroying the clinic, harming other patrons, that sort of thing.” Tal snapped his fingers and a rat appeared in his hand. He offered it to Trevor.
  18. Tal blinked. “It’s not…like, a secret or anything. A few years, mostly I’m in charge of greeting new people, making sure everyone gets a room, that sort of thing. And, of course, making sure no one with…bad intentions comes into the clinic.” Yes…we will destroy them. Tal blinked at the voice in his mind, shivering slightly. @Just-A-Stick
  19. "Oh, that's a very good one!" He pondered for a moment. "I...like pretty much all books I read."
