  1. "We talked about the alleged correspondence, and the Dreamsmith confirmed that it happened. They did also say that they didn't know why they implied that the Great Wizard was planning to take it, and if I recall correctly, stated that he probably wasn't. We talked a little bit more, but it isn't important to the trial."
  2. It was last Ookla season and it was kinda sad, but pretty funny
  3. it was all circumstantial, so really we didn't have a shot Personally, I don't think he's hostile, per se, he's just not entirely on their side. If all of what they say is true, than he would be. And even if he is hostile, this is a direct examination, not a cross examination, so leading questions aren't allowed. That one would probably be a good one to object to because a yes/no answer leaves out a lot of important nuance. Platypus seemed to zone back in. "Sorry Your Honor," he began glancing around. He mentally curses when he sees Nogard. "I've been... a little bit distracted. There was a lot that happened on my visit to the Dreamsmith." He turned to the lawyer. "What specifically would you like me to talk about on the visit? There's a lot to go over. The fake Dreamsmith cave, Clemency, the letters, something Influencing the Dreamsmith, I could go on."
  4. it's nice, except that they did not give basically any evidence to the prosecution, so there wasn't a chance of a conviction.
  5. Actually, he's not. The prosecution called him, meaning he is considered their witness for the purposes of the court. Platypus wondered if he could object to the question, since no one else would. He was unfamiliar with the specific laws of this nation, but he doubted it.
  6. Someone was part of a mock trial for debate last year It's still a leading question. Platypus looked at ..., willing him to tell Selppaenip what to object, and how.
  7. Platypus waited to answer. He had not been sworn in, and this was a leading question. As this was not a cross-examination, Sellpaenip could object. @xinoehp512
  8. Here you go Thank you! Platypus stood, and walked his way down to the witness desk. He'd been expecting to be called by the prosecution, but not as the first witness. This was certainly a strategy. Time would tell if it would pay off.
  9. Hypothetically speaking, should a Narrator be in multiple places at once (as they often are) when they attempt to visit the Dreamsmith, would that count as splitting their consciousness?
  10. @NameIess, I haven't been on the Shard. Have you done anything more with the trial?
  11. i'm impervious to magic. My boredom is too powerful
  12. Platypus muttered a curse under his breath. He'd been afraid it would be those two. After the vision, and the fact they hadn't shown up yet... Well, no better time to solve this than now. Two more of him appeared at his base. Then they teleported away, one filling out paperwork at the Wall to inform the Ennullers of the development of the Plotblades (@xinoehp512), the other starting his hunt for the Plotblades. The one on the hunt travelled to where he figured the best place to begin would be: the place of Plot's death, and the rock that he left. It's gonna be a pain to find that post. In the Hall of Judgement, the original Platypus sat with his face perfectly masked, betraying nothing.
  13. the real princess what the friends we made along the way
  14. the car's brand is Audi. they put a cowboy hat on top and made it a Haudi.
  15. Power could go to either one of them. We know that Preservation is weaker than other Shards because of the power that Leras Invested in making humans. However, Honor also has several chunks of power floating around, whether it be the spren, the Oathpact, etc. Action definitely favors Retribution over Harmony, but that could change with Discord. In addition, with Honor being semi-intelligent, this could change, possibly even giving the advantage to Discord. Experience I would call equal. Sazed's been ascended for a longer time, but his Shards don't have as useful of memories.
  16. you need Intent. It definitely wouldn't stop them if they're already happening, as if you have your Blade summoned it can't stop you from wielding it. I don't know if the WOB talks about KR or Shardbearers. I doubt it would stop healing either. again, you need Intent. I doubt the Intent of misplacing spikes counts for that purpose, and poking an animal would almost certainly not be enough to work for spikes. Also, Rosharans have their own versions of those: AoE painrials
