Darkness has that affect.

But the reason I like the night isn't because it's dark.

It's because in the dark it's easier to see the light.

Keep that in mind.

You can only see stars in the darkness.

And speaking of things that you can only see in the dark, remember that, like a glowstick, sometimes you have to break before you can shine.

Not for me - darkness is lovely. I spent about forty minutes last night walking around on the balcony, just listening to music and looking out at the night sky.
