  1. As for the purpendicularity thing, a whole shard's investiture would be needed to be converted into anti-investiture in order to anyalate them.
  2. Aou could have a cadmium misting stand next to them to bring them down to speed...
  3. A Pewterarm could do that and store it in a pewtermind (and get multiplicative returns without compounding), so why couldn't a hemalurgist store it in a spike? Also, I don't figure it should be allowed in such an instance, for the same cost.
  4. This works much better than what I was thinking, but with the same basic principles.
  5. Diminishing returns really would cut that to pieces. However, it is still probably heavy enough to make it work for half an octant, if not more. Honestly, a compounder would work well though, and earn good money.
  6. @KingSomthing, the correct term is second trilogy or second era. The greater mistborn series consists of the first trillogy, in era 1, 3 novellas (varying eras), a standalone in era 2 (AoL), and a trilogy in the second era (SoS - TLM)
  7. You could if it was a compounding savant that could make oneself incredibly light, or if there were 2 ferrings on opposite sides of the piston, or even multiple on the same side to enact greater differentials. Additionally, there doesn't need to be huge friction because it can be somewhat small due to ropes and harnesses. Of course, at that point you deal with air resistance, but low pressure high ox could deal with that.
  8. I logic it, because it can steal artificial senses, such as atium shadows and steelsight, and because the enhanced and artificial traits can be stored in a metalmind. There hasn't been a case yet AFAIK where fuero storing and Hema stealing is different if defined the same.
  9. Are you saying Roshar is actually a greatshell?
  10. It would steel the enhanced traits.
  11. It's also not perpetual motion, just spontaneous generation of power.
  12. Oops, I'l do that.
  13. So you say that if a fuerochemist is touching a statue or building, the building is part of their spiritweb for a short time? I think the spiritweb alows you to fill anything you are physically touching.
  14. Possibly Probably not Probably. Possibly overcomes 2. Good points.
  15. If Fuerochemistry thinks that you are fisically 1 object with the planet, then you should be able to fill the metal at the core because it thinks your in it.
  16. @Primeival Chaos, Ruin could mess with writing if he could see it. If the writing is in metal, but not on metal, he could have messed with it because her can still see the letters, their just glowing really bright. They would need metal shavings in the paper as well.

  18. Well, I'll just have to rethink this for now.
  19. I don't understand the first line, (weird placement of possible double negatives) and it was said AonDor would just work. As for the birthing medalian, medalians can give fuerochemistry, and with the number of metals, the chance that there is a metal to speed up the birthing process is incredibly likely. I guess I could swap the misting for a medalian and drop the ferring (medalians come with necrosil as a byproduct, I just said I was going to say no to that), allowing me to grab something along the lines of a Dakhor investiture manipulation medalian, or up chayshan to a medalian and grab a couple more primer cubes. (If it is a medalian, I can compound it, to have stronger chayshans.) However, I don't know that fuerochemistry requires that, and I really want to be able to compound the necrosil while compounding another attribute.
  20. Could it be that the amount of power is based off of mass, due to work being provided, rather than energy?
  21. There is a WoB that states you can survive, such as if you have magical healing.
  22. I'm a Sleepless with no identity or connection, Sand Mastery, Chayshan, Forgery, potions, 2 shardblades, an advanced Raysdium weapon with fabrial, metalmind, potion, and ettemettel components, and a necrosil compounder twinborn. Using medalians, I can compound all useful fuerochemeical attributes, become elantrian and dakhor, use all 20 forms of surges, and use stormform lightning. I have no need for aviar or larkin due to my tinminds and specialized hordelings. I also have perfect pitch (from tinmind), and from my boon, can use it to turn enemies investiture anti. I can breed fast due to compounding using the Birthing medalian, and atium-electrum fuerochemistry/potions to make them older. My 2 primer cubes can be used in conjunction to fill memeries and to fill copper fuerochemistry. My Raysdium weapon has slots for full bendalloyminds, atiumminds, tinminds, copperminds, and goldminds, such that a painmind and a painrial can be used together, Bendalloyminds can store toxic/pre-toxic nutrients, oversaturation of specific molecules, or oversaturation of energy, causing strains if not worse. Copperminds and goldminds ca be used to heal someone something they aren't, and ettemettel can be used to stop specific powers, or to have them fill metalminds. I am unsure what would happen if an ettmetal charge was raysdiumed into a person, but I suspect they would have a similar effect to if they were a primer cube or if they were in it's range. Aditianally, it has a back'n'forth section for investiture to invert. Having no identity or connection means that my metalminds can be tapped by others with the right powers, which is why I'm a necrosil ferring, instead of relying on the unsealdness of metalminds (However, I still have the ability to use others stored, so a necrosil ferring or fuerochemist can grab my stores if they can get to them at once.), and a rioter/Soother/sleepless might be able to abduct some of my hordlings. Also, since it has been mentioned, I am working on a cortex based ecclectic TTRPG that would include the cosmere, as well as some other works, both by BS and not.
  23. I doubt it was atium, but if a shardmetal's spectroscopy is max for all frequencies, and then off the charts for the attached color, then how would regular metals be noticed?
