Oh I feel you so much. But if it can comfort you, sometimes watching the journey when you know the destination can be fun too! Take it from an expert at spoiling themselves (see below). And anyway there will be other massive stuff than this at the end. It's a Stormlight book and a Brandon finale, what did you expect?
Major spoilers for all pre-WaT cosmere:
SpoilerSeriously if you haven't read all of Mistborn and all of SA up to RoW get out of here
SpoilerFinal warning.
SpoilerAlright, if you go on it will be on you
SpoilerWhen I first heard about the cosmere, I thought there was somehow a single overarching plot through all the series. And so I kept browsing the Coppermind trying to get what that was.
Eventually I understood how Brandon approached the connected universe thing, but by then, I already knew:
-Mr T.'s little stunt at the end of RoW
-The identity of the HoA
-Kelsier returning somehow (not 100% sure about this)
-Pretty much the entire lore behind the Shards of Adonalsium and all of that
-Possibly more stuff I forgot. This was almost 4 years ago everyone
And all that before I even opened a cosmere book. When the relevant characters were introduced, I had this in the back of my mind. (Yes I was a bit confused for Mr.T)
You think after that, I knew better? Wrong! I managed to spoil myself the identity of Thaidakar while reading RoW on a Coppermind page I thought unrelated to SA! And then again, major Wat thing on a page I thought unrelated!
Still had a blast reading those books though.
