    Alright so some of you may know that I have been upgraded to not-single recently, and I have begun the vital task of bringing my girlfriend into the cult wholesome fandom that is the Cosmere. She's read Warbreaker, and is in the middle of WoA, and let me just say.... her reactions are GOLDEN (spoilers to follow obviously)

    GF: I know he's probably gonna have an epic turnaround

    GF: and he's gonna be the best

    GF: and you're gonna be like "Remember when you hated this guy"

    Hope y'all like it, and the next book I'm getting her into is Stormlight. I'm annotating a copy with sarcastic remarks so she has more fun reading through it.

    There is a difference between being tough and being deliberately chaotic. I usually aim for the latter when I can *pours chocolate syrup on sugar cereal* *continues eating and listening to the wisdoms*

    If the pancaked is fluffier than the waffle is firm, then pancakes. (Vice versa if reversed) Also if blueberry pancakes are on they beat out most waffles.

    Yeah what Frust said, info can’t travel faster than the speed of light so quantum entanglement might be able to transport info at high speeds, but not faster than using literal light (radio waves) to transmit information.

    Ooooooo I just relooked it up and STORMS people have made stuff go fast (As a physics major, this is the most scientifically accurate way I could think of to describe this)

    I can say that most of the sub-light effects of special relativity have been experimentally proven. I think that some subatomic particles have been accelerated to like 95% of the speed of light and the particles lasted for much longer than they should have. Making energy and information travel FTL is forbidden by our current understanding of physics, so it’s kinda hard to talk about that. The math tells you that you’d move backwards in time though, so there’s that.

    The info I am willing to give is that I was the one who got her to read Warbreaker and now have convinced her to read mistborn. I am also annotating a copy of TWOK for her since she did that for a copy of Pride and Prejudice for me
