  1. She scoffed. “This isn’t my stoat. This is her stoat.” She turned away, and her indignance revealed a trace of childish petulance. “Should be.” WAIT IM ACTUALLY GONNA HAVE SO MUCH FUN WITH HER
  2. “She stole my rabbit! I already told you.”
  3. Her heart thumped impossibly fast. If only she could run through the wall or something, and take TAAron with her— What do I do? ”Nice,” Veyendis said.
  4. She stared at him flatly. “I don’t understand why you think the concerns you.”
  5. “Of course,” Beosta agreed. “Untie me.” “Whatever,” Beosta sighed. She was nervous, though.
  6. She smiled. “We should go get some—“ A huge spider crashed through the ceiling. Haly froze. Veyendis frowned. “What’s wrong?”
  7. “She stole my—!” And then she was interrupted to get tied up. Gail was clearly terrified. She kept sending glances Beosta’s way. Qodi was still quite distracted, munching on what was left of a downed suit of armor. Beosta clenched her jaw. “She stole my rabbit.” “That’s not true!” Gail shrunk before Beosta’s flat glance.
  8. “Hardly,” Veyendis dismissed. “I’m good for another round.” The nightingale twittered reproach at him, since he could hardly stay on his feet. “…I guess I’ll just watch.”
  9. Haly woke up twenty minutes later, jolted upright, and blushed. “Sorry. Sorry. I didn’t mean to fall asleep.”
  10. “I don’t know what name she picked. That one!” She pointed at Gail, then staggered. Rains, she couldn’t hold out much longer, especially without Livetha conscious. Stupid stoat.
  11. “Good. Do you want me to try again?” Veyendis asked. And then Haly fell asleep.
  12. The stoat in her hair fainted. The woman cursed. “Quit it, you idiot!” “I’m Beosta. Get these swords out of me! Great Failure is getting away!”
  13. The woman ducked, grabbed his arm, and hurled him to the floor. Good stoat, she thought approvingly, then dashed for Gail. Gail had no idea what was happening, but that gleam in Beosta’s eye was nothing to be trifled with. ehehehehe no promises :3 NO @SpiritOfWrath YOU NINJAF ME
  14. Veyendis grinned. He didn’t stop— and then he and the bird jumped back. “Ow,” he said, looking dazed. “You… you okay, Insa?”

I accidentally made one of the most prominent recurring characters (That Nameless is now in charge of) by spelling the name of the current villain backwards.

      how did I forget Eof.

Maybe I'll just suddenly pineapples and see if I can kill the plot for a few pages. Let you experience the old days.

it probably won't kill the plot, but it would delay it for at least a post

  16. Qodi complained quite loudly about losing her meal. She was again twice as large as her regular size, maybe a little larger. The suits of armor retreated back down the corridor, which angered Qodi, so she dashed after them Bacon the Bard and a woman with long dark hair and extremely intense eyes appeared from nowhere. The woman grinned, and all the blood drained from Gail's face.
  17. That woke her up. She felt herself blush, and her heart did a weird flippy thumpy thing. Gild it, she'd missed him like crazy. She carefully leaned her head on his shoulder.
  18. "All right," Beosta agreed skeptically. Gail had pressed herself against the wall, horrified, as Qodi was attacking many moving suits of armor. The armor did not like to be chomped.
  19. She grew drowsy. It felt rude to fall asleep while he was here, but she wasn't sure she could help it. Why was she so upset? She'd spent years trying to get back here, picturing his face, wishing she could hug him. What was wrong with her now that she'd succeeded?
  20. She paused. "You... can do that?" "Oh," Gail said. "Okay." She picked up Qodi, who protested, and headed down a hallway. Three minutes later, Gail's loud shriek reverberated back the way she'd come.
  21. "I... not really. I'm good." She wished Mitis had come back with her.
  22. She clenched her jaw. "She's the animal I should have bonded. Instead I got stuck with this lump of fur." "What's it look like?" Gail chirped.
  23. She smiled back. The clinic was so quiet. Mitis' ship had never been quiet. There was always either sounds of the crew or the whir of the device that kept them going at night. It felt almost... eerie.
