  1. “Narrator? …I’m confused. Also, Shoe’s right there.” She pointed at where he’d passed out.
  2. Haly’s next dream left them on a small island— not just small; tiny. Six meters in length, maybe. The grass was longer and thinner than it should be, and surrounding the island was a sea of liquid metal. A ship sailed not far away, headed for a different tiny island on which Haly, Rylla, and Mitis stood. A shiver— good and bad— ran down her spine. @InfiniteInsanity
  3. Haly couldn’t tear her eyes from the boy, but she reached up and brushed TAAron’s tears away regardless, careful and gentle. That’s too much, her thoughts whispered. That’s too much for someone so young. Too much for anyone.
  4. “Who the heck is Onyx?” “He’s annoying.”
  5. She wished she could drag him away. Would that fix anything? Should she?
  6. "Do they... know you?" Scud, this roleplay makes me want a stoat or a ferret to cuddle Anyway, I have to go. Be back in... uh... idk eight ish hours.
  7. Haly squeezed his hand. "I'm sorry."
  8. SILAS "You did it before!" Scud you. Affectionately.
  9. Ok so I know my last SU was ten minutes ago but I'm here to inform you that my writing is NOT bad and I have a poem and my first scene to prove it. K? My first scene isn't my favorite thing I've ever written, but it's pretty good and I'm proud of it as an opening scene. As for the poem, I keep showing it to people and they can't figure out what actually happened, but I know y'all will be better. Yes?

And yeah, it's a bad poem. But there's something I like about it.

    Poem:

    Spoiler

Took it down so u won’t steal from me

    Scene:

    Spoiler

    Same

Yes, this is a double post, but I'm here to inform you that the narrator is drowning someone.

  10. Beotha sighed. Why was it always her who was stuck with dead weight? Well, she did owe him. Come to think of it, she owed Livetha too. She smiled down at the stoat, who was squirming weakly and gave a chitter. "Go ahead and take some," she told her. "I don't need it." "Too much of a risk?" I feel very attacked right now
  11. sorry to post on your profile; I barely know you

    But

    Your title is so real

Yep... I have worldbuilders disease but at least my worldbuilding is thorough!

Is it relevant what is in the sleeping pills my protagonist mentions his uncle has once? Nope. Do I know what's in them and where they came from? Yep. (I'm taking a substance use and abuse class so I get to learn about different drugs then decide if my characters would have access to them or not. If you're wondering, the sleeping pills are most likely some type of barbiturate.)

I also don't really know how to plot or give my characters motivations that can drive plots which doesn't help.

  12. ... i plead the 5 WAIT RLY Only if it fits shoes character cuz Beotha is everywhere characterwise so anything fits her anyway uh yes id very much like that but we don't have to because I probably have waaaay too many unrealistic fantasies in my head already She raised her eyebrows. "Yeah?"
  13. sorry "I'm Beotha," she told the newcomer. "Where the rains did Bacon go?"
  14. "Frolic," she said, as if tasting the word. "Frolic. Close enough." A maid's face appeared from a window further down. The ensuing shriek broke the dream and left it to fade away.
  15. "Maybe," she said, thinking aloud (she didn't hear shoe obvsly), "this Bacon Bard can help with that." Also, Glass
  16. "So... how do we find the others?" She cradled Livetha carefully, close to her chest. Fun fact: Livetha = Lights Over the Harbor She ignored him. Everyone I meet is a child. Ironic coming from her, I know
  17. Angry voices called distantly from hallways beneath, the shouts traveling further than sounds should be able to. The girl grinned up at the clouds. "They find me eventually," Haly said. "I'd come up here all the time to get out of anything I didn't want to do."
  18. She stared at the wreckage she'd just been standing on, nausea swirling in her stomach. If it weren't for the strange silent dude, she'd be dead right now. With a smile that didn't quite hide her shakenness, she reclaimed her stoat. "Thank you."
  19. Help I can't write tonight T~T

    Spoiler

After that, it wasn’t hard to convince them to follow her. They had two Jeeps now, and off they went over the ragged, broken landscape.

They had to stop, though, because one of the jeeps— Blaise’s— ran out of gas. This annoyed all of them very deeply. And they also had to stop because of the superfox up ahead. They’d have to wait until it wandered off to keep going.

It didn’t wander off. One way or another, it caught their scent, and everything went quiet.

AT LEAST IM WRITING SOMETHING. I JUST CAN'T WITH THIS STORY. I'M JJUST HAVING A HARD TIME. I'LL REWRITE IT SO MUCH BETTER SOMEDAY. I SWEAR THIS IS NOT THE EXTENT OF MY TALENT AND I CAN PROVE IT IF YOU WANT.

OH WAIT DOES IT SOUND LIKE THEY DIED?? THEY DIDNT DIE

THE FOX WENT QUIET BECAUSE IT'S IN STEALTH HUNTING MODE

ALSO THEYRE NOT CALLED SUPERFOXES I HAVENT PICKED A NAME---

      ykw, i dont care.

  20. imma just like swap the order of these She hesitated almost a second too long and her fingers only just barely found his.
  21. The scene faded and left them on the small ledge that wrapped around a castle turret. A young girl clung to the spike at the top, her face turned up to the sky and her fancy dress flapping, streaming golden glitter into the wind. "Oh," Haly said, then laughed a little and sat down so she wouldn't fall and ruin the memory. "I remember this."
  22. "Take her." Beotha thrust her stoat at him. "I'll be okay." She couldn't take any more strength or ability from Livetha. She'd pushed her hard when she'd been stabbed. She'd figure something out. She'd be okay. She'd be okay.
