  1. Bat looked down. “Oh… because they said I was the best one for the job. My tattoos don’t… they usually fade in a couple of days and we have to get them renewed. Mine don’t. So the idea was if I got captured, at least a Narrator couldn’t hurt me.” — She closed her eyes, trying to block out the pain. Shoe’s touch was strangely comforting, so she placed her hand over his and prolly would have blushed if she wasn’t in pain.
  2. *no.* I’m gonna change my username as soon as somebody else does.
  3. He shrugged. “It’s… not like there’s anything else I can do to help.” — “I can try it now.” She reached to connect with Livetha, connected to Gaioh, and ripped into the withergeist. Sharp pain stabbed through her skull, but she grit her teeth and pressed the withergeist out of Gaioh’s body. Several things snapped and now her head REALLY hurt.
  4. *hugs ghost mother*
  5. Tam “I don’t know. But we can try a couple things.” “Gotcha.” He knelt next to her, gave her another three drops of numbing (one he rubbed around the wound), and carefully did the stitches after peeling off the Deepsnail slime (which had crystallized).
  6. She sighed. “Bacon might help with that. Or I guess I could try and pull it out somehow. Or maybe your sister could Narrate it out.” Bat nodded. “Perfect. Kay, Miss… uh… forgot your name. Are you able to Narrate that wound of yours, or should I fix it for you?”
  7. DOMT BLOW UO MY MOMMY
  8. “Of course.” “You… hit him over the head? Why??” Bat went around and made sure the worst of the “minor” injuries were taken care of. “Does anyone have stitches?” He called. thisbis sposta be somewhere but I lost track… sry “Livetha’s ability. Connecting. I don’t know if I killed them, but I hurt them a lot.”
  9. He’s 21 but only cuz he was dead for like three years “right.” she frowned. He carefully dropped a single drop on her tongue. “Should help with the pain.”
  10. She frowned. “Dunno.” “Of course. I’m much more suited to this than fighting.” He pulled out a small vial. “Here, open your mouth. A drop of this will help with the pain.” A year ish younger than Beosta. So, like, 20- 21.
  11. “It scudding well better be.” — Bat reached out belatedly to stop her from getting up. “You’re hurt. I don’t know exactly what happened, but you need to take it easy. You’ll be all right, okay?”
  12. She smiled. “Yeah. I guess Livetha talent was handy after all.” But… she’d stopped caring about whether Livetha was powerful or not. She didn’t remember the last time she’d been angry about Livetha’s relative… well, weakness. She hadn’t minded when she had so many good people around her. And when she could talk to Shoe. And when she’d told him and he hadn’t been angry or terrified……. Scud, she was screwed.
  13. “I felt his pulse when I first woke up.” I need to sit down. I’m already sitting down. You’re already sitting down, idiot! She cleared her throat. “Sorry. My brain’s not working. I think I mentally tore apart, like, twenty withergeists.”
  14. She shook her head. And no, things weren’t wrong. Everything was better, actually. Gaioh was alive again— which was something she never could have imagined she could do. She felt like she’d proved herself. She felt… worthwhile. She looked up at Shoe. She didn’t understand why she’d gone into such a frenzy when he became a hostage— what was up with that?— especially since she hadn’t known him for very long. But he was sweet and pure and incredibly compassionate…………. Oh, frik. Friiiiiiiiiiiiiiik.
  15. “Last week…” she looked down at her hands “Yeah.” Feels like I’ve known you forever.
  16. She shrugged. “Well, it’s probably cuz I’m scudding tired. Or maybe Livetha’s taking the pain.” She reached out to pull it back, but her head throbbed in protest and she stopped. “Yeah. Yeah, I think she’s taking the pain.”
  17. Avocados from Mexicooooo
  18. “I don’t know,” she said in response to the first question. Then she frowned at his next words and glanced down. “Oh. Prolly shouldn’t be standing up, then.” She slid down to the ground. “It’s mostly fine, I think. It’s hard to feel. My whole body is… buzzing.”
  19. Ok so where are u cricket and also where’s everyone else and just generally wtc is happening I like this group let’s not split up T~T
  20. She waited, then sighed. “Great. I think the connection’s down.”
  21. “Hey, Shoe.” She stumbled to her feet and gave a tired smile. “You didn’t do anything dumb, did you?”
  22. Beosta was awake, leaning against the wall and rubbing her forehead. Scud, it hurt. the connection isn’t back up yet
  23. He nodded, frowning. “All this stuff they sent me with and there aren’t any stitches. Well, the Deepsnail slime should hold for a while.” welp Bat wasn’t paying attention and neither was I
  24. BE NICE TO MY MOMMY *slap*
