    Paper bag. A poem.

    Brown paper hag,

    I find that you sag

    When used as a bag,

    You useless rag.

    Dear paper puppet,

    My patience you buffet

    I plan your comuppance.

    Fat paper liar,

    Your lot is dire

    For I do admire

    A quick death by fire.

  4. Alia followed in a speedy manner. It was more boulders. Bigger ones, and a lot of them. The area was swarming with archers and other warriors, but Bobby was down below, Rizzing all their arrows so they wouldn't hurt the Sigmas working the catapults.

  8. She eyed him. "Perhaps. Fine, go. But betray us, and you'll never see your sister."
  9. She grinned. “We don’t have to actually fight monsters. But do you think this town needs help or anything?” “It certainly wouldn’t look stately.” She frowned. “Though perhaps may come in handy. I shall consider this.” It crawled to his pocket and ate his knife. Mrs. Whitlock was very pleased. She grinned at Tam, left some medicines on the counter (even though her son definitely had some already), and retreated to her sewing room. He woke up on cue, if not very realistically. He did indeed feel awful, with a pounding headache and absolutely no energy. It almost made him regret the ardenol. Almost. They might both be dead without it. It had come in really handy… he should probably get more, just in case. “Ugh,” he said, to inform anyone in the vicinity of his consciousness.
  10. I regret not sleeping more
  11. She chuckled and flicked the monocle away. “I fear it would merely look silly anyway.”
  12. “Vi betrayed us.” She shrugged innocently. Mrs. Whitlock grinned again. ok I sleep now
  13. Aden’s non Thread appropriate words left his mouth. He apologized to Irie and Five before punching the glass separating them from Violet. Now his hand hurt. - Mrs. Whitlock grinned.
  14. “Coulda waited until we get there!” “Of course.” She grabbed her son and managed to get him down on the couch. Then she turned to the priest. “Come in, good sir.” @NameIess
  15. “Of course not! It’s still my favorite.” - She raised an eyebrow. “And why’d he chase you here?”
  16. “Why’d you go and do that, idiot?” The man snapped. Aden froze, then cursed. “You know this man?”
  17. She stared at her, then laughed. “He went and broke his tattoos. That might be my favorite one yet.” I love him so so much Mrs. Whitlock stood up. “Who are you, sir?”
  18. Be really careful.” She tilted her head suddenly. “How did you heal him?” The interior was enclosed and separated from the front by a glass screen. Aden frowned and tapped on it. “Sturdy… bulletproof and plasma proof…”
  19. “Sure, sugar.” He carefully scooped up Starlight. Five followed him out to the crawler. She lifted her hands. “Shh. It’s okay, Ava, I… I’m not going to cause any trouble, I swear. If Bat’s not afraid of you, I don’t… don’t have to be.” Her eyes were wide, pleading and scared and uncertain. “As long as he’s okay…”
  20. An older man (fifties or sixties) imma cowboy hat nodded to her. “Perfect. Load ‘em up.” He jerked his thumb backwards at his vehicle, a long, low crawler. She nodded. “Good. I… I just had to be sure.” She clasped her hands to keep them from trembling. “You’re the… you’re the Narrator, aren’t you?” She whispered.
  21. A man knocked on the door. “Hey had to land just a hop away. Let’s go, folks.” “Relatively unharmed.” She sat next to Tam, twisting her fingers. “You’re… you’re not here to hurt anyone, are you?”
