  1. “You’re awake,” she said, closing the book.
  2. “Fine.” He didn’t let go, but he shifted his grip. Bat finished and stood up. “I have to go for a bit. I’ll be right back. You wanna come?” He asked Tam. - He sighed. “Last chance before things get a lot less pleasant. Your full name.”
  3. “No,” the guards said. “We can hurt her, if you want, or you can come.” She grinned. “Stay as long as you like, dear.” - “Full name?” She grabbed her sword. “Okay. East!”
  4. I’m sorry null I gtg too Slep good everyone
  5. He sat down at the table with her. Mrs. Whitlock was just getting the food on the table— pasta with some weird creamy sauce. - He met her eyes and gave her a tiny half smile before he was pulled away down a different hallway. If they touched a hair on her head— Her guard led her to an innocent looking room like you’d see at a clinic. A man waited there, holding a clipboard. “Ah, sit down.” She nodded curtly. “Tell the guards to bring him here.” Buenas noches, my dear Thread. May you live forever, always with the spirit of slightly mitigated chaos.
  6. Aww I like aggressive hugs *hugs aggrigravessivesivikly*
  7. I didnttttt but maybe
  8. “Oh,” Fly said. “They’re lying,” Fox said matter- of- factly. “They’re in loooooove.” Bat grabbed Tam’s hand and pulled her into the kitchen, away from his siblings. He did NOT need to be even more red. He wasn’t gonna let anything ruin it. - “Good.” Another scientist pulled her hands behind her back and cuffed her, then led her down a bright hallway. She froze, and her heart thumped. “St- Starlight, wait! No, no—“ She ran after him, but was caught by a scientist. Meanwhile, a woman who Starlight probably recognized as one of the leaders of his project waited for Violet in one of the innocent looking doctor rooms. Next one is my last one dudes
  9. But but I’m a girl maybe it would fall in love with me
  10. Five clung to him, fighting Violet. But she was weaker, so she was forced to follow him out and cling to him. “I won’t,” she sobbed. “I won’t!” Yay, more sleep! He smiled again. “Why are you staring at each other?” Fly asked. Bat turned red. “W- uh, just thinking.” - “Good girl,” the scientist approved. “And your weapon?”
  11. Oh… ok… You suuuure?
  12. “Don’t get hurt. Don’t let them hurt you!” Her fists bunched around his shirt. The crawler had stopped inside something of a bunker. Several people were making their way toward the vehicle, dressed just like the scientists from before. Seeing them, Five began to hyperventilate and cry harder, so hard she couldn’t breathe. He grinned and hugged her back. Loads better. Thanks. You doing all right? “Bat!” Snow happily hugged his knees. Bat reached down and ruffled his hair. - Their door opened, and a scientist pressed a gun to Aden’s temple. “Out. Leave your weapon. Slowly.” He carefully let go and slid out of the vehicle, taking the plasmatine sword hilt off his belt and placing it on the seat. “Don’t hurt Irie.” “No promises, pal. Now you,” he told Irie. “Come on.”
  13. Wait now I need to try it—
  14. She sniffled. “Okay,” she whispered. The crawler slowed to a halt. Moss fell asleep on the couch. Timeskip, yay. Fly woke up and Fox left her room not long after. So the peace was effectively shattered. After several hours of this, Mrs. Whitlock left her sewing room and began to cook dinner. So Bat woke up to the smell of toast and pasta. If pasta had a smell. He came out feeling much much better. - He pulled back enough to look her dead in the eyes. “I’m remembering that and taking it as permission to go as fast as I want.”
  15. Bobby took another arrow in the head. A real one this time. Before Alex blacked out, he saw Zeta standing above him, holding a long, slim chain in one hand. - He woke up in the palace’s infirmary, where Alia was waiting and reading Pride and Prejudice.
  16. That’s concerning
  17. “Finished testing,” she said heavily, plopping onto the couch. “I better pass. We can’t afford another year of tuition.” - “You don’t have to, Irie. Really. I… I’m sorry I drove so fast.” The glass windows and screen darkened, leaving them without a hint as to their whereabouts. The darkness frightened Five. It felt like the cells again, the dark cold lonely awful cells where they’d come and bring her so so so much pain. She whimpered. “I’m scared,” she whispered. “I’m scared.”
  18. Bobby grinned. “Still just a beta, I see.” And then an arrow took him in the head.
  19. WOAH, MY SON Hmm… I’ll allow it. Just this once.
  20. He grinned. “Our secret, yay!” Moss stepped around the corner, looking absolutely haggard. Beautiful, somehow, but haggard. She carried a large satchel similar to Bat’s, but clearly made for books and stuff. “Hey, Ava. How’re you finding our city?” - “Hey, hey. You were a great friend, Irie. My best friend.”
