    Bobby grabbed the sword and wrenched it out of Alex’s grasp, tossing it aside. Then he Rizzed the wound— he’d get it bandaged later— and stabbed Alex again.

    He narrowed his eyes at the little horse, then chased it and very, very carefully picked it up. “How does it work?” - He nodded and kept on hugging her.

    She couldn’t stop sobbing. She hugged him as tightly as she could… They couldn’t just… take him away. Snow watched with wide eyes. “Wow,” he breathed. “It moves on its own!” - He nodded, and then was quiet for a minute, still hugging her “Is this okay? Considering the circumstances?”

    He felt a powerful wave of Rizz washed over him. “I could teach you,” he offered. “You could be one of the most powerful people here.” The offer sounded incredibly good, and Alex would find it hard to remember why he shouldn’t take it. RIGHT??

    She hugged him back and started sobbing. Aden ignored Violet. His eyes lit up. “Yeah!” - “I’ll figure something out,” he whispered. “We’re all gonna be okay.”

    Five clung tighter to him, burying her face in his shoulder. “Ohh,” he said. “You should give him some flowers too! Then he’ll be rested and happy!” - “It’s okay,” he whispered. “I signaled Lise.” “Oh,” the man said. “And your fancy electronics won’t work. We’ve got a mag field around your side of the car.” Aden slumped. Lise would know their signal had vanished, but unless she could find the tire tracks……. Nobody was coming. They were alone. He gently took his arm from Irie so he could hug her instead. It might have been a bit too intimate, but… it felt right.

    “We can’t do anything but stand down!” His bed “Thanks.” He stumbled to his room and collapsed onto his bed, then rolled under the covers. “You… gonna be okay? Up alone?” “I’ll protect her,” Snow volunteered. Bat smiled at him. Yay! Her eyes lit up. “Danger, sweet! Oh… I don’t have my freaking sword. Could you make a portal to my room real quick?” A sharp knife, shaped horn grew out of its forehead and stabbed Glen in the leg. Ooooooh interesting :3
