    Oop you're right Everyone forget the tattoos I'm not sure just assume it's pretty bad - Bat slashed them with the Notblade, but stumbled and crashed into the wall before he kept running. He'd definitely taken too many--- and they were both bleeding out--- They wouldn't make it in time. He pulled out the tiny vial and downed the contents. Energy zinged through his body, setting his blood on fire. "Wait." He grabbed Tam's hand and pulled her close to him. He switched Illusion for Pain. "Hold on to me." It stared him down. Qodi the rabbit eased behind Glen to hide. She raised an eyebrow. "Cheating? Ah, you mean a time skip?" Rose agreed. Rose followed.

    He squeaked, then screamed again, louder. If he was going to die he was at least going to traumatize some people in the process.

    And eventually the cook called them to a table, which was absolutely exactly as she'd promised.

    A meerkat poked its head up and regarded him curiously. She nodded. She was. She was quite a sight, really. Her dress, which was colored like her namesake, looked very fancy. Or would have if half the skirt and the sleeves weren't ripped off. She wore leggings underneath, and was also barefoot. Her black hair looked beautiful, though. Oh, and she had a bunch of swirly, faded tattoos. He pointed to Violet, whose head was bleeding. - Do you need me to carry you? ---Here. He handed her some of the little black beans. "Let's go, then?" "Drive, I'd guess. She was only ever an avatar, made to observe. If she surpassed that purpose, then I should have no trouble eclipsing her." She summoned a monocle. "I shall make that my study--- our existence, how to continue it, and such other matters. Drat, monocles are difficult."

    Alia sat down on a bench.

    "And it'll be the best burger, pizza, and ice cream you've ever tasted," Alia told him.

    She scowled at her bare feet. Yeah. I know.

    Rose narrowed her eyes at the new man. "Yeah, who are you?"

    "Cool. Which way do you think we should go?" She eyed him and wished she had her sword. "Do you have another knife?" she whispered.

    The cook smacked him with a spoon and read their essay things. "Hmph. All right, gimme half an hour."

    "Nonono, let's find a town here. That's more fun." She grinned at him.

    "They're heels. And I hate them." She ripped the sleeves off of the dress for good measure. "I wanna go shopping and get some real clothes."

    "Aw, thanks." She stepped through, holding their papers, and walked to the kitchen. "No coffee," the cook snapped. Alia handed her the papers.

    She shrugged and ripped the dress at the knees, pulling off the petticoats. She wore leggings underneath, so it was fine. She also kicked off the fancy shoes. After some thought, she retrieved them and picked off all the gems. "In case we need money," she explained. Destroying those shoes seemed to make her happy.

    She nodded and frowned down at her dress. “This thing is too long. You got scissors?”

    She finished and stood up. “We’ll be right back,” she promised the person watching over them, who was currently deep in War and Peace and waved them on impatiently.

    “That would be amazing,” she said gratefully. She fell asleep. The wind stopped blowing. Everything was suddenly silent.

    She only took a couple minutes.

    She snorted. “Okay, lemme write my paragraph and we can go.”
