    She rolled her eyes. "Alia will show you." Alia had set down Emma and was now scribbling furiously in her notebook.

    "I don't know! So we're gonna drop you, Five, and Irie off in one of our safe houses and then I'll go to investigate."

    She led him to a quiet room full of nice couches. Alia sat there, along with several other people spread through the room. They were all reading Emma, making notes now and then in their individual notebooks. Bobby mewed to make sure he was strong in the faith.

    She grabbed him and hurled him with superhuman strength over the gate. When he landed, the ground was strangely flimsy and yielding, so he wasn't hurt. She followed an instant later. "Reeducation with you," she said. "We'll stick Alia with you, just to be sure she's all right." hehehehe "Your conclusions are your fault." And then she was gone.

    There was no blindness. Qodi, the rabbit, tripled in size, stealing the strength from Gail. She slid out of his arms to the ground, unable to move. She hated this. She hated this.

    He lost all his remaining Aura. She leered at him. Bobby's mouth fell open. Zeta sent a spear through Bobby's chest to keep him occupied as she jumped down and landed on a weirdly flimsy and yielding ground. "Hurry up, then," she snapped, dashing for the front gate of her own fortress. HAH She slapped him.

    That was good. She nodded. The lack of a destination bothered her, but there wasn't much she could do about it right now. Qodi ate another rock. The roaring intensified, and behind them a huge stomping lizard creature came into view. "I don't know. Something happened back at base, I think."

    Zeta threw a spear in his direction. She'd managed to get Alia peacefully reading the dictionary again. "LEAVE MY WARRIOR ALONE, BRAINLESS WORM."
