Hey, I’m nearly a month late but OH WELL. Welcome, welcome, welcome! I will not try to change your mind about Hamilton or The Greatest Showman because they are both great (although the latter isn’t technically theatre yet) Dream high! I’d never dream of bursting any bubbles delusional or not. :] You should fix your spelling though Oh, I almost forgot! The reason I came to this thread was to tell you guys what I did last Sunday. I was the Grinch!! We had our performances last weekend and it was soo fun. It was pretty disastrous and not in any way polished or clean (With one of our leads being unable to sing their entire solo song among other complications ) but, we weren’t expecting a masterpiece so it was so fun anyway! I’m so glad I did it and all the little kids loved it so that’s the main thing! oh and my tap dancing was fairly okay for someone who’s never done formal tap and has only owned tap shoes/ been trying to learn for a few months! Pro tip: if you are ever Elphaba the Grinch, Shrek, or have to wear specifically green body paint, be prepared to wash your face at least seven times and it still not be fully gone

If anyone here has a free couple hours to watch a musical I recommend "The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals" by Team Starkid. Its pretty dang good, I've watched it three times in the past two weeks alone (it gets better each time you watch it) and much more besides that. Warning it does have swearing, maturish themes (innuendos) and stage gore but its so worth it. If you're interested its apart of a musical multiverse with many timelines and much plot but this is the first one and can be enjoyed on its own. If you watch it, lemme know what you think.

Lord, lord, lord, DUcK is lOrD If you have time you should definitely watch more, they're great. I'm mildly obsessed Guys, casting came out for the show I'm doing this Christmas and I got the Grinch!! It's a Jukebox musical inspired by "How the Grinch stole Christmas" and "The Nightmare before Christmas" and it has tap dancing. I'M SO EXCITED!!!!

Maybe you could find a community theatre show to be apart of if you really want to do theatre without ruining it for yourself with this director. Also, anyone here know who team Starkid is?

I’d watch this as a reality show I can just imagine the mutual animosity that would grow Oooooh probably Hallendren, it’s so full of life and colour and the marketplace and restaurants would have great food. Although, if great food is what I’m going for then I think I could stay in Design and Hoid’s noodle shop for a month

Sooooo my egg drop for physics worked and Eggward survived.
Also I went to see the Taylor Swift movie last night (my mother is a massive Swifty, like MASSIVE) and it was surprisingly really good.

It was a toss up between this and Chem (I’m already doing bio) eventually I went with physics I believe, so far I’ve made the right choice. I never thought I’d say this about any kind of equation but SUVAT is fun.

it was so strange, like a concert not a movie. Everyone was scream singing and dancing and doing the chants and applauding. During Majorie everyone got out their phone lights and swayed to the beat. The fandom vibes were through the roof. I can’t imagine what actually being there would have been like.
