  1. I had to look it up. It's French, I believe.
  2. Marry Physics, Kiss Chemistry, Kill Biology Death, Life, Nonexistence.
  3. The void also applies to the look in their eyes and the death that the Voidbringers brought. This is noted in a couple of books referenced in Jasnah's notes, I believe. Those other mysteries still stand, and besides speculation, we don't have a ton going for us with any of them. However, we do know that the destruction of Ashyn did have something to do with the surges.
  4. Semi-relevant WOBs
  5. Up became down, which was the biggest problem here.
  6. Ok, so I'm definitely missing details here, but mostly I'm just trying to inspire discussion, so here is this theory. We know that the Set is trying to get something into Elendel, most likely by hiding it within some harmless looking goods or disguising it as such. I have seen it pointed out on one of the other forums that it is likely a bomb. This is for multiple reasons, such as the Faceless Immortal at the end of BOM saying that they are moving up the timetable to remove all life on this sphere. Bombs are quite effective at removing life, and Elendel is one of the most if not the most defensible, advanced population center, that also is where Wax and his cohorts live, so it makes sense to eliminate it first. The explosion at the end of BOM has an unknown source (I think) implying that another explosive will be making its debut in TLM. Wax points out that it is odd for the Set to be trying to see which shipments into Elendel get inspected. Many of my fellow humans on the shard have pointed out, as I did earlier, that this means that they are trying to sneak something in. I would like to expand upon this. The Set isn't necessarily too worried specifically that their weapon of mass destruction will be discovered. Since we assume that a new explosive will appear in this book, and we see Harmonium and Trellium interacting at the end of chapter 13, I suggest that this will make a new kind of explosion. (I know other people have theorized this as well) This would make sense with the Set trying to smuggle things into Elendel. What comes in might not be regulated, but what if you are bringing large amounts of rare God Metals into the city? Regardless of restrictions, people are bound to notice, and doubtless this is something that Wax or another one of our characters is keeping an eye on. However, if you could sneak the God Metals into the city hiding them as or in shipments of other harmless things, then nobody would be the wiser. Basically, my proposal is that the Set and agents of Trell are planning to or are already bringing Harmonium and Trellium into Elendel, pretending that they are harmless shipments of things like lumber. Then, they use these resources to create a giant explosive bomb, one that could wipe out at least the city of Elendel, or as the red-eyed Faceless Immortal said, "Remove all life on this sphere." The number one problem that I see with this is that God Metals are rare, and that even more than Trellium, it would be very difficult for the Set to get their hands on Harmonium. However, we know that the Southerners have quite a bit, so I guess it wouldn't be out of the question for Trell to have a lot as well, and it even seems likely that agents of Trell are working within the Southern Continent. Also, as a final thought, we know that Harmonium is very, very potent and explosive. If combining it with another God Metal creates another explosive, I am willing to assume that the new creation will be ridiculously powerful, so you might not need that much Trellium/Harmonium to create a strong explosion. It feels reasonable to say that the amounts of God Metals needed here would be a lot, but not an unobtainable amount, especially if agents of Trell are hiding and operating within the Southern Continent. Anway, thoughts?
  7. These small few sought refuge on the nearby planet where Nale the Ninja lived.
  8. This annoyed them greatly. This change annoyed them, failing their philosophy, and so they destroyed themselves and the planet.
  9. I mean, the requirements for forming a bond are a lot lesser than you might think. On the coppermind it says that it would technically even be possible for Nightblood to bond a spren, but the circumstances would be odd. Anyway, the answer is yes, but it might be kind of difficult.
  10. Well, does lunch count? TPBM got less than ideal amounts of sleep last night.
  11. Hello my fellow humans of the shard, how are you all doing?

So, I occasionally go back through my google drive and look at the things I've written. Sometimes I'll just write things down in an untitled document and then forget about it. When I go back later, I have a lot of untitled documents with little things in them. Here is one I found just now.

"I sit at the hearth, watching as the last embers of a false hope fade out of existence after being seared into my soul. The emotional agony is branded upon my very being. I remain on the ground, empty, devoid of all emotion. I want to feel. I want to experience pain, love, death, and rejoicing, but doing so would bring pain. I cannot bear it. When I lose it all, where will I go? I can not go on any longer. Doing so only brings pain. The hope of, “Tomorrow is another day!” is lost in the torture of knowing this awful cycle will repeat itself. I want to keep trying. I want to keep going, but I do not think I can handle more. The inevitable tragedy will occur, and when it does, where will my place be?"

Yes, I know there is a contradiction in there, but it still makes sense, I feel.

That's... that's the type of stuff I write occasionally in my head. My pms are open if you need to talk.

Well, this is a pretty old thing. It's not even well written, just thoughts and feelings on paper.

As I said, it's an older thing, I feel pretty okay.

  12. Until Moot robbed the pineapple bank and was wanted for his crime by the caterpillar police.
  13. Yeah, if you run into a hemalugically enhanced coinshot or maybe just a really strong coinshot, they should be able to push on your braces. I third the vote for aluminum.
  14. I steal the fallacy, which had the sandwich in it.
  15. Do you get notified if you summon yourself?
  16. I fight off your cat with my dimensional rabbits and take the sandwich.
  17. But I, the yeti crab, snatch it.
  18. What orchestra things shall we discuss?
  19. Hi! I look forward to hearing your experience. Do you play an instrument? Are you doing well today?
  20. You might be on your own. Wouldn't that be sad?
  21. Huh, I really got summoned twice by two different people to this random thread.
  22. What did you do today? Do you have any pets? What is something useless you are good at? What is your favorite thing to do when you have free time? What is your favorite board/card game? Favorite video game? Favorite rabbit breed? Favorite forum game? Favorite snack food? Favorite music piece? Favorite instrument? What is love? What does it mean to be alive? What does it mean to be human? What is a goal you have for yourself? What is a mood that you like being in? Favorite holiday? What makes someone a good friend? What makes someone a good person?
