Does anyone have any advice on how to get a hesitant sibling to read? My brother loved Mistborn era 1, but has resisted other books. I’ve been trying to get him to read more but he’s convinced that Mistborn was a fluke (also didn’t want to try Mistborn as a western in era 2) and doesn’t want the commitment. But I know he’ll love the cosmere if he gives it a shot. Anyone have any tips or cool ways of pitching any Sanderson books?

Try to get him to read some of the short stories in Arcanum Unbounded, preferably Mistborn Secret History. Maybe he’d be willing to read a shorter piece?

Good suggestions! I like the ideas of using Era 2 references to Era 1 as well as Mistborn Secret History.
