Quick Fix 64: Spies in Starsight

See Kas's post earlier in this cycle, and my reasoning last cycle. Also, the Aman train looks kinda sus.- 993 replies

Quick Fix 64: Spies in Starsight
NerdyAarakocra replied to Szeth Pancakes's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I think I can safely vote Xino. Kas does a good job of explaining his argument, and I follow the same logic in addition to my suspicions from C1. I'm also willing to vote Aman, if y'all can convince me that he's more worrying than Xino.- 993 replies

Quick Fix 64: Spies in Starsight
NerdyAarakocra replied to Szeth Pancakes's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Honestly, I was just kinda suspicious of his behavior in C1. This is my second game, and the first was a BT so I have no idea what I'm doing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯- 993 replies

My highest E! read is Xino, maybe Kas but probably Xino. I'm not sure about V! but I think that it could be Devo, maybe?- 993 replies

Our Archipelago - A Chaotic RP
NerdyAarakocra replied to Channelknight Fadran's topic in Roleplaying
MeSaan looked out over Caerlon. It was a part of the Otero chain, but wasn't as central to the economy as the main island. It had some workshops, but it was mostly residential. It was still industrial, but compared to Otero, it seemed... quaint.- 3518 replies

Hmm... I'm going to go with Xino for now. The fact remains that I have no idea how play this, but Xino seems kinda suspicious after his posts in C1.- 993 replies

"Fair enough." said Il'anque. "I don't know. I've seen lots of injustice in my time, but Death is both fair and absolute. It's hard to think of a better master to serve, actually."

Il'anque found a good handhold on the crystal, and grabbed one of the metal veins. This would be a good hold. She used it to provide stability as she used crystal growths as footholds. "Anyway, enough vaguely ominous talk. Why did you decide to become a reaper?" @Ookla the Frustrated.

"Kinda. I honestly have no idea why I know this stuff. I learned a lot of it from my parents, but it just seems to come to me naturally, even if I never learnt it. It's honestly a little creepy." @Ookla the Frustrated. @Ookla the Perpetual

"Well, lots of monsters are really specialized. The pelts that we took can be used to make invisibility cloaks. When alive, the monsters have a natural way to get Ethereum to power their abilities, but when dead, the powers cease to function. So, if you take the pelts and give them Ethereum, then bam! You have invisibility at your fingertips."

Once Isek had made it up to the top, Il'anque continued on. The next climb was a slab route: it essentially was a very steep hill. Il'anque found an area where meltwater from higher up the Inverted Mountain had flowed. This eroded the rock, and made great handholds. Il'anque used that, and a few underclings (ledges which you grip with your palm facing upwards) to offer support, Il'anque climbed the slope. @Ookla the Perpetual

Il'anque continued on the path. Avi was asking a good question. When Il'anque climbed, or used magic, or even hiked, it just felt... right. Not an acquired skill, but simply part of who she was. "Huh. I honestly... don't know. It's just natural, I suppose. I have had a lot of practice, though."

Il'anque looked at the crystals jutting out from the cliff. There was a crack running up the rock face. That'll do, thought Il'anque. She grabbed the crack, and put one of her feet on the crystals. She quickly used the trad to get up to an area without many good footholds. Now came the tricky part. She grabbed a crystal, and heelhooked the trad to reach over to a different crystal. She put her feet on a small ripple in the rock, and used it to hoist herself up. After that, it was trivial to ascend the rest of the cliff. There would be more to come, but this was a good start. @Ookla the Frustrated.

With help from Avi, Il'anque removed the pelt. She ate some of her fruit, and sat down contentedly. Soon, the break was over. The group got back in gear, and prepared to scale the final section. The White Iron awaited. @Ookla the Perpetual
