  1. As Lilac turns to him to nod, she pauses for a second. Something in her expression shifts. "Your eyes. They're..." She frowns. "They remind me of someone-" She shakes her head, but she seems somewhat subdued. "Someone I know...?" She laughs suddenly. "Ignore me." Following the map, she reaches the mushroom area.
  2. Lilac blinks. "Did something happen?" She starts heading to the mushroom area, lantern raised.
  3. Lilac's eyes cloud, a cruel yet sorrowful smile making its way to her face. "And if we make it quick, maybe she won't fight back, in fact it's for her own good anyway, so what does it matter? What does it matter if she screams or cries, it's all nothing anyway, she's nothing, it's fine, you can use her up as much as you want, it's fine it's fine it's fine-" Lilac swallows, and suddenly she's back to her normal self. "I know, but I think we should still at least try to help it. If it attacks us, though, we can kill it."
  4. Lilac nods. "I can go on my own, if you want. But we do food. And..." She shakes her head. "I know it's stupid. But that creature is alone and probably terrified and most likely deadly, a bit like us. And I don't want to be cruel and uncaring. Like the gamemakers are. I want to care about this creature, simply because I can. Does that make sense? I mean, logically I shouldn't help it at all. But lack of logic is what defines humans, and I am human. In this prison, they try to make us believe we aren't. But we are. So, I am going to help this creature. If that is all right with you."
  5. Lilac steps outside, before turning to Ayck. "Thank you, by the way. For listening to me." She tilts her head to the side. "Not many people do."
  6. Lilac immediately lowers her voice. "Ayck, I think we should go. And preferably find something this creature might want. Food? Water?" She starts slowly and unthreateningly moving towards the door.
  7. Lilac's grin widens. "Great! Do you want to look for food? In case it gets dangerous outside and we need to stay here for an extended period of time, because other groups can't come in." She blinks. "Well, also just because we need food." Lilac looks at the corner of the shelter...
  8. “It probably is.” Lilac continued walking, humming as she went. If Ayck cares to notice, she always makes sure she is a few inches away from him. It doesn’t appear that she’s afraid, though.
  9. Lilac turns to her allies. "Do you want to go see what that mysterious dark shape is?" Her eyes sparkle. "There's so much... beauty around us, and the gamemakers are trying to make it invisible, but it's there. Isn't it lovely?" She smiles at them.
  10. Lilac studies her surroundings carefully, her answer depending on them.
  11. Lilac smiles, for the first time looking alive. "I say we explore. There have to be pre-made shelters somewhere---what else would we fight over? But we should start looking now, before others do."
  12. Lilac shakes her head. “It’s sort of… blurry. I don’t really know what’s going on? But.” She hesitates. “I’m not the betrayer. You don’t have to believe me. But I’m not. I… I promise. And if you are the betrayer…” She smiles quietly. “You can betray me, if you want. But I’m not going to betray you. I…” She shakes her head. “Nevermind.”
  13. Lilac has no idea whatsoever what Ayck is concentrating on, but it seems like he's deep in thought so she leaves him alone. To busy herself, she turns to her pack and tries to figure out the most efficient way to open it.
  14. Lilac nods, feeling the urgency of the situation thrum in her blood uncomfortably. She grabs the nearest weapon, leaving the scythe, and heads off with Ayck. "Don't run! It'll attract the shades!" She starts speed walking.
