Lilac doesn’t scream, but she’s clearly racked with pain. Gritting her teeth, she uses her right shoulder to shove Assah to the ground before trying to make her retreat. She doesn’t want to fight. She just needs quiet.

Lilac growls before ripping a mushroom from the ground (with her left hand) and shoving the flaming mass into Assah’s face. “Get away from me. I DON’T WANT TO HURT YOU. STOP.” (Just to be clear, she aims for the eyes.)

“Yes,” Lilac says numbly. “I am going to walk away from a fight. Because I don’t want to kill you. Because… I killed someone…” Lilac also walks faster in the direction of their base. “Please. Please don’t follow me. Please. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have done anything. I shouldn’t have reacted. I shouldn’t have cared. I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry.“ It did not appear that she was taking to Assah anymore.

Lilac looks at the scene. She looks at Bob. She looks at Assah. She can't think. She can't do anything. "I-" Her hands start to tremble. "I-" She swallows. She's not sure if she's crying or not. "I-" She looks down at her hands. They do not have blood on them. They should. "I killed someone?" She swallows once more. "I killed someone." And then the screams are back, but they are hers, but she isn't talking, it is just in her head, from before, from earlier, from back at her village, from the feeling of being shoved against a wall and helpless and watching yourself and- "I killed someone." And she turns to walk away.

Lilac watches with horror. Frozen. Again. No, no, no, no, no. She watches Ayck fall to the ground. No, no, no, no, no. She watches Ayck struggle to breathe. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. And still, she couldn't move. No, no, no, no, no, no, STOP. STOP. STOP. And then she doesn't know what was happening. He is dying. She is dying. No, she isn't. She is watching. Watching? She is watching him die? She is letting it happen? She is letting him die. He is dying. He is dying and dying and dying and- and dead. And then she snaps. She can't just watch any more . And so, Lilac grabs her quarterstaff. She watches Laurellen struggle as Ayck finally died. She does not react. She steps forward. Aims for the neck. And brings down the weapon. @The Wandering Wizard

Lilac quickly surveys the ground, trying to see if there are any traps nearby. Just in case.

Lilac nods. "Also, I don't think that any death is okay." She smiles. "I'd rather die than kill someone else."

Lilac looked at Ayck. She didn't think he was the traitor. He was too... sincere? In an odd sort of way, she trusted him in that he would do whatever he thought was right. And for some reason, she didn't think he would kill her. Well, he might. But he would be open about it.

Lilac blinked. "You... know who the traitor is?"

Lilac gives a small smile to Laurellen. "Are you going to kill us?" She also tries to see if any of the white blips are floating near their group.

Lilac frowned at Bob and Ayck. "Do we need to kill her?"

Lilac nods. “Also, the mushroom isn’t poisonous. Just so you know.” She looks around for other mushrooms of that type.

Lilac blinks. "I would, but the Shade appears to be eyeing you. And the mushroom. I'm not entirely sure if it's safe to eat, either..." She looks at the mushroom. Can she tell if it is poisonous? (Considering her District 11 background.)
