  1. Uhhhh There are stars that make themselves younger by eating material off of other stars. I'm not sure. Lately part of me thinks it would be really cool to go to Japan. I guess I just know that I'll have an awesome experience wherever I go. I've known what my career aspirations are since I was like seven: I want to be an astronomer. Of course, I don't know what that looks like; like, what work I'd be doing and who'd be paying me. But I love space and love doing scientific research, so...yeah.

  3. The rising generation on the Shard does not appreciate TLT enough.

If Thaid was here he'd agree with me.

You should all go check it out.

Oh, also, only bolded text is canon.

So you don't need to use quote boxes to talk out of the story. You just unbold.

  4. He wasn't sure where he'd gotten a plan egg from, but now that it had hatched he thought it was pretty cute.
  5. "No point arguing about the past," Tinker said. "We're tense right now. Don't let it get to you." He turned to Corin. "I'm guessing the Arena is at least somewhat underground? It seems like they'd need it to be in order to have this much control over how the environment changes." @Edema Rue @J. Magi @Spark of Hope @Ancient Elantrian
  6. "We can at least try," Tinker said. "Do you know where an exit might be?" @Spark of Hope
  7. Her eyes widened slightly at that. Then she chuckled. "Well, I guess in the near future you get to meet the boy your girl has the hots for...assuming this goes well." A young woman, probably about seventeen, emerged from the crowd. "What is it, Mom?" "Can you take these two children to Arla? They need a place to stay." "Sure." Milay turned to Meron and Lily, crouching down in the same way her mother had. "You ready to come?"
  8. Rashi walked up to her as she exited the hovercraft. Her eyes widened as she saw the two children. "You've got some little ones," she said. "Wasn't expecting that." She smiled kindly at them and crouched down. "We're going to find you a safe place to stay, okay?" Rashi turned and yelled into the crowd of preparing people. "Milay! Come over here!" She turned back to Crocus, standing upright again. "We're no stranger to children in Moongaze. They'll be taken care of." She held out a hand. "I'm Rashi. I'm guessing you've been watching the broadcast, if you also have a child in the games? If you know Tinker, I'm his mother."
  9. Unfortunately this drew the attention of the Score-Watchers.
  10. A voice over the radio directs the craft to land on the outskirts of the village, near the clump of white tents. The area is bustling with activity; men and women clothed in simple leather armor are preparing weapons and supplies, while the people of the village help put everything in order. It's a small group, but they look determined. Rashi walked up to the landing craft, a small smile on her face. This just keeps getting better, doesn't it? Looks as though the Gamemakers made more enemies than they had bargained for. Falr and I aren't the only angry parents in the country right now. @J. Magi @Spark of Hope @Scars of Hathsin
  11. "It seems we all have family in there, then," Falr said. He smiled. "Let's go get them home safe." @Edema Rue
  12. For the record if you were immortal I think it would be in your best interest to do a bunch of different stuff...
  13. Selppaenip drew a katana and frantically began slashing through as many of the falling fruits as he could, a burning fury filling his soul.
  14. From the broken asphalt emerges a swarm of angry sugar gliders.
  15. "If I may ask..." Falr interrupted, "What is your reason for attacking the arena with us?
  16. I'm only, like...six months and one day late... Pancakes/Waffles. I don't want to go into the argument but I'll take either happily. Either that or leftover dinner, if it was really good dinner and easily heatable in a microwave.
  17. "You're confused now?" I ask. "I swear this isn't the weirdest thing that has happened here."
  18. Drowning in cold blood was a very unpleasant way to die, and so Selppaenip had sworn vengeance. Twenty-eight years had passed.
  19. They had been his sworn enemy ever since he was young.
  20. The man... The myth... The legend... Hans Zimmer
  21. Where did Exp go, by the way...?
  22. What's the theme for the next game going to be, by the way? I think I might have enough time to participate, especially because I won't have school, but I don't know what my work schedule is going to look like at that point. I might be willing to GM, too, if you can't find anyone else. But this is all subject to change depending on how my next few weeks go. I'll be sure to update you.
