    Rym drew his Mordite sword. "Why? What changed...." Bookwyrm said softly. "Something about that disk...." He summoned his Narrationblade. "I have to sadly disagree with your wish for the demise of everything," he said, louder this time. Bookwyrm's Narrationblade was suddenly wreathed in blue, black, and white flames that shot into the sky and pierced the oppressive red sun above their heads. Those flames are something called Nightfire that I invented as a power for myself.

    Unfortunately, Jasnah was insanely paranoid and didn't eat any cake.

    Another star appeared in the sky, glowing with a strange blue light. "I don't understand why you're doing this, Calano," Bookwyrm said. "What's wrong with light? Yes, it can be oppressive, but when you know how to use it, the world becomes so much better." Several more stars appeared among Nameless's. "The reason we like darkness is because it lets us see the light clearly."

    Rym, Moni, Found, and Lightseeker arrived right at this moment.

    Bookwyrm found the disk on Calano's desk and touched it before anyone could do anything. He was very curious.

    Unfortunately, this meant that Hoid abandoned the party to go beat Kelsier up.

    Bookwyrm appeared on the mountaintop as well. "Uh, Calano? Did that weird disk do something to you?" Meanwhile, Rym grabbed Moni and Found and mounted Lightseeker, and they began to fly towards the mountain.

    Rym watched in confusion. "....What?" he said after The Eagle had disappeared. He turned to Lightseeker. "Should we go after him? Are you big enough for me to ride you?"

    As the scooter began to fall apart, Rym grabbed Lightseeker and Found and jumped off. Moni was already on the scooter.

    Unfortunately, she had never left Roshar before, and thus was inexperienced.

    Unfortunately, this desire for revenge caused them to chase the ninjas all the way to Scadrial's Subastral.

    "Do you still have that basket, Calano?" Rym asked. "Also, do you know why your house exploded?"

    Fortunately, Jasnah had no wish to kill The Elsecaller.

    Rym jumped up, grabbed Found, and ran out the door with Lightseeker.

    Unfortunately, a horde of ninjas attacked.

    Rym's eyes widen further. "I'm going to have to ask Bookwyrm to teach me some of his mind-reading-blocking techniques. Can you see the future, too?"

    Bookwyrm sighed. "Well, now I see how this might have gone poorly, but still. Erasing people's memories to further your own purposes is not a good thing." He frowned. "What are your purposes, anyway?" Rym's eyes widen. "You're still animus?"

    Unfortunately, when they activated the oathgate to get to Nale, it sent them into Shadesmar.

    Bookwyrm turned. "Hello, Everyone." Rym stood up and looked worriedly at the new Crolings. This can't end well, he thought.

    Fortunately, the were almost ready to swear the third ideal.
