  1. Bookwyrm shrugged. "I mean, you seemed to be doing fine as a ghost. You can still narrate in that form, right?"
  2. "Wait, is this what you're using as a body?"
  3. "I....do not understand what you just said."
  4. "Oh. I misunderstood. Sorry. Regardless, we should probably head to the foot of the Northernmost mountain. I'm assuming it's north." Bookwyrm turned to the awkward tree person. "You coming?"
  5. "I know. It's understandable." Bookwyrm looked down at his wounded hand. "Maybe if I had done something more..."
  6. "Fake? I'm only hiding my private thoughts. I'm okay with you reading some of them. "But that's another topic. What does the message say?" Bookwyrm heistated as he saw the tree person. "Uh...who are you?" he asked.
  7. "What is?" Bookwyrm said. He then remembered to shield his more private thoughts using his mental techniques.
  8. Bookwyrm noticed Calano appear next to the statue. He walked up next to Calano, and stood looking up at the statue with him.
  9. Bookwyrm, who had actually never met Lightseeker before, was kind of surprised. "I guess you know Rym well enough to assume that I'm a good Narrator?" he asked. Bookwyrm turned to Esmerelda. "Thank you for letting me come in here. I might visit another time, when things are calmer." Then, beckoning for Lightseeker to follow, he left Eof and Esmerelda's cottage to go figure out what he was supposed to do next.
  10. Wait, Found is my character, you have no control over him! But I'll allow it....this time. "It seems my feline avatar has arrived outside," Bookwyrm said, "Though I'm not quite sure why."
  11. Found the Kitten was riding on her. "No one has explained the prophecy to me," Bookwyrm said.
  12. "Because whoever is pretending to be you sent whatever Nameless's body became to kill him?" Bookwyrm turned to Nameless's presence. "Do you have any idea who's actually leading the people who did this to you?" Bookwyrm hoped this didn't mean anything bad.
  13. "There's plot right now!" Bookwyrm said. "Someone posing as Eof is causing trouble, and we're trying to figure out who." "Oh. Uh...is there anywhere else we could get some information?"
  14. Hello! We're excited to potentially get to know you!
  15. "Hm." Bookwyrm though for a moment. "Well...we could always go interrogate Cucumber Beard. Or someone else."
  16. "That's good," Bookwyrm said. "Do you have any idea who it could be?"
  17. Bookwyrm was surprised to see Eof. "Well, that's good," he replied.

  19. I know it's been a while, but....I'm commenting here again! First of all, that is a very nice explanation of general and special relativity. While I know a lot about space and physics, I haven't seen those theories layed out so clearly until now, so thank you! I do generally understand time dilation; the faster you move through space, the slower through time...at least relative to those around you. It's like a Cadmium bubble, sort of, at least in effect. Gravity does the same thing, for some reason, though that's a whole different story... If you somehow magically happened to reach lightspeed, you'd functionally be moving infinitely fast through space, and then you'd stop moving at all through time. Time itself would not pass for you. When you travel infinitely fast through space, you halt all movement in time. So....what would happen if you somehow magically halted all movement through space? Would you then be travelling infinitely fast through time? Or am I just thinking crazy thoughts? This is a less in depth comment than some of my other ones.
  20. "I thought it might be something like that. Can you give me any details?"
  21. "My name is Yisten. It's nice to meet you." Despite the fact that Yisten felt awkward in the interaction, he was somewhat glad someone was willing to talk to him.
  22. "Thank you," Bookwyrm said politely. "I...don't want to seem rude, but I have reason to believe that Eof, or at least someone posing as him, is...." he paused. "Well, I'm not sure what he's doing, but it threatens the general peace of this thread. Some of his henchmen did something to one of my fellow Narrators. "I don't have all the facts, and I don't want to accuse anyone, but...do you have any idea what Eof is doing, currently? And if so, can you tell me?"
  23. That should be enough, Bookwyrm thought. He stored a tiny bit of Fortune in a small bead, then tucked that away. Then he extinguished his Bendalloy. He stood up and started searching for Emma and Calano in earnest, and idly hoped that Thaidakar and Nameless were doing alright.
  24. I'll admit, I was surprised with the way that played out in the clinic. Didn't expect it at all. ( I have a sneaking suspicion that you'll come back, though...) Would anyone like to make some memes of me?
