Pondering other worlds, whether those be the distant worlds in our own universe, or the worlds we can enter through the stories of others.
    ...
Speaking of which, here are some worlds/stories that I like, in no particular pattern or order (though this is probably in need of some updating):
    The Cosmere
    Avatar: The Last Airbender
    The Legend of Zelda
    The Xenoblade Chronicles series
Ender's Game, Speaker for the Dead, and adjacent books
    Project Hail Mary
    The Remembrance of Earth's Past
    Dune
    Interstellar
    Arrival
    Inception
    Tenet
    Princess Mononoke
    Castle in the Sky
    Fullmetal Alchemist
    Star Wars
...And probably a bunch of others I'm forgetting. This list is not comprehensive.

  1. My brother (who I'll get to join the Shard one of these days) is a big entomology guy.

    He likes bugs.

I've always liked caterpillars and butterflies, to a degree. More so when I was younger.

But today he introduced me to my new favorite caterpillar/butterfly species:

    Spoiler

    The Dragonhead Caterpillar:

Which, in turn, becomes the Blue Nawab Butterfly:

Also, look up "Pelican spider."That was my daily brain break. And my daily dose of horror.

Whoa that's such a beautiful caterpillar and butterfly species :0 (Also, apparently pelican spiders only eat their own kind, and don't bite humans... so we don't have to worry about that)
