I had a weird dream in which there was a Mistborn movie.

My mom was trying to do something on a TV, and a trailer for a new Mistborn movie popped up.

It was really weird. The world was completely inconsistent. It seemed to be post-Catacendre Scadrial, though of course my dream brain didn't realize this. The world had normal trees and grass, but with slightly weird colors, and for some reason my dream brain was telling me it was kind of like Roshar. The story was completely different, there was no Lord Ruler, no Skaa, no thieving crews. (There wasn't really any story, because this was a dream.) Basically the only thing that was the same was that there was Allomancy and Feruchemy, evidenced by two characters fighting, one of which was wearing metal bracers, and the other one with the ability to see the future, presumably with Electrum or Atium.

My dream brain theorized that this was part of Scadrial that had somehow avoided all of the ash and smoke. Then, later, and because my dreams are never consistent, I got a book version of the movie. In the book, one of the characters was Dalinar, and so I assumed this was a movie of a previous concept for Mistborn, one that was never canon. Also, Waxillium was Dalinar's son, or at least relative, in this part of the dream.

I also somehow learned that this was just Scadrial in the far future. 

Somehow, it made sense in my dream, and I was very excited, and then I woke up and realized how inconsistent it was.

Dreams are weird.
