Like stars in the sky

The lights of the city shine

A thousand stories I'll never know

There are too many for human minds to ever see

I'm alone.

Lights flash red

Like scars on my arm

Like panic inside my chest

It's distinct against white city lights

A story I don't know, I cry anyway.

Forever we hide

Smiles we fake, tears we smother

When will we see each other clearly?

Instead of lights we see a twink'ling city
