Kind of like you would pronounce Bjorn. Hard 'g', followed by "yorn" - which in turn is like "yarn" but with 'o'.
-
I think this is just Amazon messing something up. It wouldn't make sense for the ebook to come out early.

Unlike @jofwu I had much less success in learning things from Isaac - useful things, at least =\ Source: Shire Mint Post AMA So, the (disheartening for our efforts) takeaways: The vowels don't affect the glyphs any more than the consonants do. RAFO about the glyphs relationship with Thaylen. glyphs aren't meant to be read or even deciphered. Glyphs are different in that if you come upon an unfamiliar glyph you might be able to guess what it means by its shape, but until someone tells you "that glyph means 'soup'" then you're still guessing. The calligrapher's guild has rules they follow in creating glyphs, and there's a lot of artistic license, like the flipped R in Koяn Those in the guild--and some scholars who are interested in how glyphs morph over time--might be able to decipher some of the glyphs for academic purposes.

It's from Elantris. You are now a war priest.

I don't think we'll need an entire Discord server for it. There will probably be a channel though. @Chaos? -

Hacks, all of you. I've been an Arcanist since Arcanum Unbounded came out. -
The release party is on Nov 13/14, and the tour lasts for a week (the last stop, in Chicago, is on the Nov 21). I imagine you'll hear about adaptations sometime during that week, or the week after at the latest.

... ... Get out. Get back in. Puns are life. -
It takes a lot more than a year to get anything to happen I would wait a few weeks, I am sure Brandon will talk about the latest state of things during the Oathbringer tour.

Babies, apparently, also screech when you most expect them. And when your expectation levels are somewhere between "least" and "most". They just screech a lot, man. In my ears. I've grown to sympathize with a certain character in the Cosmere who hears screaming all the time... poor soul, I feel your pain now. -

The number of babies screeching into recording devices and fire alarms going off I've listened to for this archive... I swear, you better be all happy with it, or the ghosts of my bleeding ears will haunt you for eternity!- 86 replies

More like a generic "unicorns are magical and they twinkle" type of thing. Or maybe Robot Unicorn Attack.
-
Chaos is announcing when an announcement will come up, which will in turn announce the announcement time of the archive.

No, you're right, he definitely peeks a little into it there. I think being Invested allows you to see into Shadesmar a little bit occasionally - for example: http://www.theoryland.com/intvmain.php?i=1178#7

They are magical unicorns, you guys! Why am I the only one who picks up on the accidental reference...

Chapter 25: The Girl Who Looked Up Oh, is this how we are going to do this? Strata talk off the bat. Very well then. This is definitely a lot more extensive than before. Looks like the stronger you are, the more easily things come to you, and the faster you learn. Which, I think, is a theme in the Cosmere. Oh, I wonder if her illusions will start getting away from her. I wonder what we are to make of this whole story. Is there a nugget of lore hidden in it? Some pre-Honor / pre-Cultivation parable? *concern* Oh, that's not terrifying at all. Good. Oh, interesting! So whatever this thing is, maybe an Unmade, is mimicking not only murders, but other forms of harm too. But it needs some kind of connection between the victims - the guy Shallan stabbed the other day was also a Horneater. Poor Rock, getting stabbed just for his race... Chapter 26: Blackthorn Unleashed This is why I've been saying they are the unicorns of Roshar! The are bonded to storming musicspren! Or at least attract them for some reason, but I think they are bonded. This. This! This deep in the Thrill, Dalinar is... what, seeing something of Neorgaul's power? Seeing a little bit into the Cognitive? I've been thinking about this red haze every since I read this chapter in Unfettered II, and I don't know what to make of it. It is obviously magical in nature, this is not just a metaphorical "seeing red", and it's tied to the Thrill, but beyond that I haven't been able to come up with anything good. And, I mean, there is also this: Fun fact, this is much the same tactic Dalinar used when he fought Eshonai back on the Tower, in The Way of Kings. Aaand I think this is the scene Dalinar keeps referencing, the one where he almost killed his brother. Underwhelming in hindsight (Dalinar hyped it way more in the first two books), but very good in the moment. Chapter 27: Playing Pretend Another point towards an Unmade. Because of course the Dustbringer spren would be called Spark. Talk to them Shallan, let me drink the sweet sweet knowledge! Oh, storm off. I take it back, don't talk to them, Shallan. This Malata lady just sounds annoying. Kind of like Cryptics want to learn through lies? Oh, no... This is going to be such a mess when Kaladin comes back. Shallan, boo, I know I said some things in my last review, but I'm just saying now, if you want to kill two birds with one stone, you could just murder Amaram and use that as a trap for the mimicking spren. Would work out great! Oh. Oh. *concern* *concern* *CONCERN*
