Yeah, I identify people by their profile pics so when they change my brain implodes just a little. Also during Ookla season I think someone can steal your name and then when you try to switch back you can't. I don't remember who that happened to last year.

Forgot about those (only read white sand once). I am very confused about the water on Canticle. I might have just missed in it the book but I can not remember anything about the water cycle and how it works. If the animals don't drink all that often then they must get lots of nutrients from the invested plants, and the humans must as well because there doesn't seem to be a large variety of food sources on the planet.

Okay so around Brandon's birthday and Peter Ahlstrom's birthday everyone change their username to Ookla the -----, for example mine last year was Ookla the Sibling (not very creative but whatever) and that's kind of the whole thing. It gets real confusing because everyone's names are different but people change their member titles to clarify who they are. Before the season starts, make sure you haven't changed your username in a while, because there's a limit to how often you can change it in a certain time frame and you don't want to be stuck as an Ookla.

yeah I guess they would have evolved to survive this crazy planet. Maybe they have hooves like ryshadium so even when the ground is kind of hot they don't burn their feet. They would have to also be really fast and be able to survive off the plants that grow with the sunlight just like the humans do. (Unless they feed off investiture which would also be cool)

The way I read the part about the invested animals was that they can just survive the sunlight somehow, but I guess there's really no evidence for that, and also Sigzil was way invested and even he couldn't so why would the animals be able to. I think it makes more sense if they can just outrun it. It would be cool if there were people who lived on the ground and rode the animals to escape the sun.

I think that it would be really cool if a listener were to take up Honor. When Kaladin was fighting them on the shattered plains, he found that they fought with honour. The fused also fight with honour (at least Leshwi and her crew), but I think it would be better for a listener rather than a singer/fused to pick up the shard. The three shards that have been influencing Roshar are/were held by two humans and a dragon. I think that the singer species should be represented in the shards. Another reason that I think this is that it might be an interesting balance that could be struck on Roshar, with a listener holding Honor, a human holding Odium, and a dragon holding Cultivation. Just to clarify, I don't think Venli should pick up the shard. Nope, no thanks. She's doing a great job with her redemption arc but she's still fairly selfish and I worry about her holding Honor. Although, maybe the shards intent would change Venli for the better? I don't know. I just don't see that ending well. One thing that sort of makes this less likely is the fact that it really isn't been foreshadowed all that much. Yes, it has been made very clear that the listeners are honourable. But no individual listeners other than Venli have really been explored enough to make this a satisfying conclusion. Maybe in the back half? What do you think? Which listener (or singer if you want) would make a good Vessel?

I just mean that even though it fits in the world and everything, to me it doesn't fit Sigzil. Your points do make sense though. I just need to get used to it because name changes kind of throw me a bit.

I guess it just doesn't fit Roshar for me at all, and I know that obviously they're not on Roshar but for that reason I hate this name for Sigzil because Sigzil is a great name and Nomad is a great name and why did he need a third name?

I mean, fair. I hate Logan with a passion. Dean seemed lovely in the first seasons but less so later on. Jess was rough when they first met, but I love him in the later seasons and he saved the reboot for me. So I am team jess all the way, especially because he encourages her to pursue writing and that's nice.

Maybe gold compounding and pewter allowance? It kind of depends on what they're fighting and where they're fighting it but I think healing + strength is pretty powerful.

I really want to know more about the original Zellion. I definitely think that we really don't have enough information to make accurate judgements, although I like to believe that Zellion was actually kind of selfish and led the Threnodies to Canticle for his own benefit, then was made a hero through legends passed down from generation to generation. It just seem like a cool idea. With Kelsier we got to see a man become a legend, and with this it might be interesting to see the reverse. Learn about the legend first and the man later. Sidenote, I think Zellion is kind of. dumb name. Sorry Brandon.
