    Sequence shook her head. “I have everything I need already, but thank you.” She lifted one hand above her head, and the night sky sped up a bit, and the alarmingly large and crimson, yet pleasantly mild and dim sun rose on the horizon. “Anything else I can do? I’m afraid changing this dressing may take a while, so if there’s anything you need I’d prefer to do it now.”

    Sequence nodded, somewhat reluctantly. “… Very well. Thank you.” Shakily, she sat down in a nearby rocking chair, moving very slowly and laboriously. She looked deathly pale and was poking gingerly at her side. Aelinor, a tall dark haired woman who looked a bit like Sequence, appeared, looking around the group with narrowed eyes. She knelt at Sequence’s side wordlessly, setting down a small bag of medical supplies. Sequence lifted up her shirt a bit, exposing the white bandage wrapped around her midsection. On her left side, the bandage was marred by a slowly spreading patch of blackness. Aelinor looked up at Sequence with a nod. And Sequence nodded and let her shirt back down before standing up. ”If you will all excuse me for a while, I must go change this dressing.” She stretched with a wince, Aelinor offering her arm for support. “Before I go, is there anything you all need to prepare?”

    Sequence rubbed her shoulder, looking a bit uncomfortable. “… It will be dangerous,” she said to Cadewyn. “I can return you to your home if you decide you’re not up to the task. I won’t hold it against you if you don’t want to risk your life for a stranger.” She looked around at Unintelligible and Ryver as well. “That goes for everybody,” she added, somewhat somberly.

    Sequence frowned as Eepy spoke. “Well, hopefully he’s-“ She jumped as Cadewyn opened his eyes, taking a step back. “Oh! Goodness! Looks like he’s okay!” Sequence knelt back down, examining the newcomer. “Are you alright? Does anything hurt?”

    Sequence shuddered, but nodded as she wrapped her arms around herself. She still looked rather disturbed. “Maybe I should…” She said softly. “I can’t help but feel like I’m partially responsible for them. And… I suppose I also worry about you all helping me. Ivisyre is dangerous. Part of me wants to face them alone, to keep you all out of danger.” She looked up, blinking and rubbing her eyes. “But the other part of me knows that I won’t win this time.”

    Sequence looked up as Unintelligible spoke, wiping her eyes gently. She nodded, still a bit sullen once he finished. “You’re right, of course… At least… If they’re gone… They won’t be able to hurt people anymore.” Sequence frowned. “They’ve hurt a lot of people.” Sequence followed, kneeling down beside Cadewyn. “Oh dear … Is he alright?” She asked Ryver.

    Sequence pressed her hands to her eyes, groaning softly. "... Even after everything, I- ... I don't want to kill them. Even if they-..." Sequence shook her head, tears welling up in her eyes. "I want to believe they're still good... Is that weak of me? To cling on to the hope that they'll change? To still- ... Care about them?"

    Ivisyre nodded. "I figured." They didn't seem surprised. "I don't have a plan, actually. But I'm formulating one. Honestly, I had hoped Ryver would simply let me in and turn a blind eye to my goal, but I will admit that was wishful thinking." They remained seated, waiting and examining their fingernails idly. Sequence sat down, clasping her hands together until her knuckles turned white in an attempt to calm her shaking hands. She nodded as Ryver spoke, seeming a bit dazed and unfocused. "... Resolution?" She asked quietly, looking up and glancing over to the raging storm of Cadewyn's transformation. She didn't seem alarmed despite the bright spectacle, and she waved her hand. Space bent and swirled, and Sequence, Unintelligible, and Ryver all found themselves moved a safe distance away to an identical cabin on the other side of the lake. She turned her focus back to Ryver. "Resolution sounds... Final." She held her stomach, looking a bit queasy. "Resolution..." She said again. "Either me or... Ivisyre will come out of this fight dead, wont we?"

    Sequence froze, the color leaving her face almost instantly and her eyes widening. She gently lifted her hand to gingerly touch the left side of her waist. "... They... They can't- ... I'm s-.. safe here..." She spoke slowly, her voice trembling as if she didn't quite believe the words she said.

    Sequence blinked a couple times, processing the information. "Kill me?" She asked, more confused than frightened. "Who would want to- Oh, he's right here." She gestured to Unintelligible, who stood beside her with the caged rabbit. @NameIess

    Sequence glanced at Unintelligible. "... What good does that information do us again?" She asked, whispering to him. Ivisyre opened their mouth to object, hissing softly when the portal closed before they could. "I suppose we'll wait here, then," they said to Able, summoning a chair. — Sequence looked up from where she was crouched next to the rabbit's cage, spotting Ryver quickly. She smiled, standing up and clasping her hands together. "Ryver! Lovely to see you again! Ooh, and I see you've brought a guest?" She barely seemed to acknowledge the mention of bad news.

    Sequence blinked, surprising as she looked to Unintelligible. "... Of course. Just... Tell us what we need to know, and you can stay here as long as you'd like. You'll be safe."

    Ivisyre raised an eyebrow. "... Very well. I will ask that you complete your business there before bringing me, as I would prefer nobody unexpected to be present when I face her."

    “Well… If you don’t give us the information we need… I’m afraid I won’t be able to convince my friend here to let you go…” Sequence glanced at Unintelligible. Annoyance twinged in Ivisyre’s eyes, but quickly vanished. “Probably,” they said, putting on a mask of boredom. “Sequence’s World is open to you, unless you’ve been banished too.” They paused, tilting their head and looking at Ryver. “‘We’?” They asked. “Do you intend to help me fight her?” Ivisyre looked Cadewyn up and down. “Does he? He looks scrawny.”

    Ooohh, that's a slightly trickier subject... Xino knows the most about Plotblades, but I don't see why you couldn't bring a new one into existence as long as it fits the general mold of what Plotblades do! You could probably ask Nameless too, he knows a lot of things.

    There actually is, I discovered recently, but it doesn't have any info on mechanics . If you're worried about the plausibility of a Narrationblade being in the hands of a non-Narrator, make something up! Maybe a Narrator long ago gave their blade to this person, or anything else you like. The "rules" of TLT's nature are not as strict as you might think! We're all just here to have fun .

    Sequence looked at Unintelligible. Something in her eyes looked like she wanted to agree with him, but she forced a frown onto her face. "Well, lets at least give it a chance to speak before we do anything rash!" She turned back to the rabbit with an expectant look. Ivisyre watched the exchange from afar, an amused smile tugging at their lips. "What happens to a Narrationblade after its Narrator dies? I would assume it vanishes, but..." They looked thoughtful. "I guess it must be possible to preserve it somehow. How one would do such a thing without even realizing the nature of the blade they have is beyond me." They brought out their orb again. It glowed much brighter now. Ivisyre closed their eyes, and black mist snaked from the orb into their heart, and then returned to the orb. It glowed a bit brighter as they tucked it into their pocket. "Perhaps I should too. Leads one to wonder if such a powerful place can be consumed," they mused.

    Ivisyre looked amused. “I don’t really care about ‘my world’. That was merely one of many places I’ve found to relax. Sequence is too soft to expect me to come back, so I’m not worried about the element of surprise either.” Ivisyre looked out towards the figure again, squinting. “You’re right. It didn’t go well.” They turned their gaze back to Subversion and Ryver, eyes narrowed slightly. “And you think that this Narrator,” they started, assuming that the possession of a Narrationblade would indicate a Narrator, “would willingly join me in fighting another Narrator in a conflict they have nothing to do with? I don’t have any payment for them. Just you, Ryver, for the mere task of bringing me to Sequence’s World.” Ivisyre was very skeptical of this detour Ryver was taking, and it showed with their questions and expression.

    Sequence blinked again, seeming surprised by herself, and then suddenly very weary. She shook it off, rubbing her eyes for a moment. “I- … No, I’m not going to do that. I don’t know why I said that…” She stood up and knelt next to the cage, plastering on a smile. “I’m certain that a reward, perhaps much greater than mere turnips, lies in store if it cooperates…” She looked at the rabbit for a moment, glancing at Unintelligible. Ivisyre’s expression hardened. “I absolutely want backup,” they said softly. “But Sequence is good at appearing innocent and friendly… Avoiding conflict. Nobody else sees her for what she truly is.” Ivisyre looked very bitter as they spoke, spitting out the Narrator’s name like a curse. They took a deep breath, composing themself. “Besides the first step of confronting her, I am capable of doing what needs to be done alone. Ookla the Unintelligible is of little concern to me.” Ivisyre seemed uncharacteristically collected, speaking with a drive and a goal and a belief rather than their typical chaotic spontaneity.

    Sequence blinked a few times, then nodded, falling into character. “I’d hate to do it, but… You are correct. I can go fire up the furnace.” She spoke just loud enough for the rabbit to hear, giving it a suspicious glance before moving to stand up. Ivisyre gave the pair a look that seemed to gaze through their very souls, their eyes slightly narrowed as they stepped through the portal. Able followed close behind, resting his hand on the pommel of the short sword at his hip. Ivisyre looked around the surroundings with a raised eyebrow. “Allies are always nice, but I cannot help but think you may be getting distracted,” Ivisyre said. “I simply ask that you help me onto Sequence’s world, Ryver, in exchange for Conflict. Is that something you need this ally for? If you have more…” They stared at Subversion for a moment before looking back to Ryver. “Pressing matters to attend to… I will gladly find help elsewhere.” As they spoke, Ivisyre idly took the sphere from their cloak, and some black mist flowered from their heart into the orb. It glowed softly, and the nearly imperceptible cracks Ryver had placed glowed with crimson light… And then sealed. Ivisyre was not incompetent. They smiled fondly at the orb, tucking it back into their cloak.

    Granted! You are now acutely aware that you are going to be hit by a bus sometime within the next week, and it completely dominates your waking thoughts . I wish for the mental fortitude and intelligence to win every argument I engage in!

    Ooooohh... I really want to upvote this because it's a wonderful list indeed! But I can't ruin the King's Wit, of course . (Cats are mythological beings, by the way . Their powers are simply beyond our understanding sometimes.)

    Ivisyre raised an eyebrow, still grinning. "Oh? An ally in what goal?" Able leaned forward, peering through the portal to examine the new world.
