  1. Hmm... That does make a lot of sense. More abstract correlations of course, but that does fit with the WoB that they are similar but not 1-to-1. I quite like this theory about how they line up.
  2. So, I am using a graph for all of this instead of Pixel measurements, so might be off. But I found that the 100 Mile Scale on the Elendel Basin map is around 1.24 Units long when the image is given a width of 6.6, this makes for a ((3.3/1.24)*100) Radius, for an Area of 223,000 Miles squared, or 577567.349 Square Kilometres. Slightly bigger than Yemen. I am not going to go into all as I kinda lost the math, but using this image, I got that the Area of the Final Empire should be around 4,665,850 Miles Squared (12,084,496.025), but I also got 1,720,000 (4,454,779.55) and 3,510,000 (9,090,858.267279) on different attempts overtime. No close comparison for the first, it is bigger than China but smaller than Russia. The others are, Between India and Australia, and bit smaller than United States respectively. I say this both to get feedback on my calculations, and to see if anyone can find better calculations that we can put on the wiki.

  4. That would fit with the direction he is going about being more and more focused on helping peoples psychological state in RoW, helping those with less physical pains. It would fit to protect people in all ways.
  5. I thought that Irali were related to Idris and the Royal Locks and such, at least in some manner. Due to Golden hair, along with this "The Iriali also paint their skin with colors and patterns", which fits with the importance of colour on Nalthis. Along with this, This sounds very similar to the Breaths given by Endowment, and how when one dies the Breath returns to Endowment. Returned also are resurrected to change their future and experience a different path. Which further fits with the idea of the One wanting to experience everything.
  6. I am mixed between Feruchemist and Surgebinder. As with Feruchemy I could do a great amount, but if I do Surgebinding I would have power but also be able to get a deep personal connection with a Spren and it seems nice to always have a friend around.
  7. I did the math for some Sel dimensions, as we have it done for Roshar. We know Sel is 1.2 Cosmere Standard in Gravity and 1.5 Cosmere Standard in Size. We know that this basically identical to Earth due to some other calculations. Thus Gravity = 11.7684 m/s2 Radius = 9567.15 km Thus the Mass should come out to 1.61422 * 10^25 Kilograms. Density of 4.398419618528610187 g/cm^3 We do not know the year or day length as well as we do for Roshar, so cannot calculate the Orbital Period or Angular Velocity or any of that. At least not as of yet.
  8. In terms of the very Cosmere aware books, The Emperor's Soul, Mistborn: Secret History, Hero of Ages, Bands of Mourning, and Stormlight Archive in general (but Oathbringer, Dawnshard, and Rhythm of War in particular) all give a lot of insight into the ways that the Cosmere works and into majour players and mechanics. But to truly understand all of the Books give insight into the mechanics and background. I just listed the ones that do the most IMO. And as said above, you can look on the Coppermind Wiki for a lot of information on the Cosmere collected from across the books. Though it is not complete in various parts.
  9. Not exactly spoilers per se, but various Epigraphs in SA hint at things in Era 2. But not in a way that spoils it. And as people said, it is best to read Secret History before RoW, at least IMO, and SH is best after BoM. But this is mostly reccomendation and isn't really necessary.
  10. Well, the Aluminium guns used in Era 2 are theorized by Wax to be Aluminium-Scandium Alloys (which btw, is an actually used Alloy of Aluminium which gives a lot of added strength to it), or at least an Alloy of some sort. Which shows that Alloys are also inert.
  11. Truly creating Investiture is actually impossible, by Compounding you are just using the power of Preservation to store into a Metalmind, not actually creating it. So Compounding F-Nicrosil is just going to give you increased levels of Investiture pulled from Preservation. Which iirc wouldn't really help a Twinborn or Mistborn much, but would maybe help someone like Hoid who has access to multiple forms of Invested Art.
  12. Actually, we have more examples of Savants, mostly with Soulcasting Savants. But Spook wasn't necessarily bad at controlling it, it was a case that he physically changed to basically always have super strong senses. There was also the fact that he couldn't even harm himself apparently in one of the Epilogues, leading him to have to insult a man a ton until he attacked him himself. And he showed happiness at having his teeth knocked out, implying he couldn't purposely hurt even himself. Also I recall there being WoBs on this sort of thing, but would have to find them.
  13. Hard to really say, it depends on a mix of when you look and where on the planet you look. But, I would definitely have to say Threnody, a lot of things on it get in the way of advancement. Shades and the Simple Rules. And the technology we see on it is far more basic than other worlds.
  14. Yeah, they have a great amount of difference beyond just looks, as they actually are asexual as malen and femalen. Which is enough to be notably a different sex, this is why it is differentiated. When male or female they are sexually active and fertile.

    Ati and Vax

Yes, the scene if Pre-Catacendre, just not by much.
  16. Yeah, the symbols for metals come from Scadrial, and Scadrial is. as of now at least, completely ignorant of the existence of Raysium. Therefore no symbol exists for it. And as LadyLameness said, closest we get is the Glyph for Rayse, or more accurately Rasen, but they are the same person, just different names.
  17. I read that the different books of Mistborn Era 1 should all have different forms of the Steel Alphabet for their chapter titles. But this confuses me, as my copies all use the same script for them all. Was the different script usage only something that was added in the Leatherbounds? Or was it in older copies and my copies are just bad or something?

    Theory on vax

As explained above, Khriss knew barely anything about Yolen despite bare basics, yet she appeared to have a good understanding of Vax, and refered to it as if it were its own planet. And the statement of "two realms" was in reference to Trune and Fain, which as shown in Secret History and in WoB is still canon. So I do doubt the whole Yolen and Vax being dichotomous in such a way. But rather that they are separate planets with their own form of Investiture.

We don't know for certain, it is either a representation of the Beyond, or of the Spiritual Realm. You can make arguments for both. I don't really know where I lean on the issue. I might be leaning more towards it being a sort of representation of the Spiritual Realm, due to the whole metaphor of the Spiritual Realm being like a sun emanating light. And yes, I see it as an unreachable backdrop of sorts, but somewhat more like a pantheistic form of unreachability moreso than a transcendent form. Not exactly sure, just spitballing here.
  20. It is pronounced Kel-see-ay, and not as a joke. But you can pronounce it however you want. I personally prefer Kel-see-ay over Kel-see-er Used to pronounce it as Kels-seer or Kels-ee-er
  21. I must have misworded myself. We do have it confirmed that souls are pulled to it, just look at Mistborn Secret History, what happens when they are there we have no clue, but we know they are pulled to it. Is it the Afterlife? Is it Spiritual Destruction? Is it Reincarnation of some kind? That is what is left up to debate. That is what I meant by "but past that, yeah, nothing" as we do not know what it is, and will never know. I did say that. My mistake if my meaning wasn't clear.
  22. Yeah, I know, thats why I set up the idea of it being a Realm beforehand, as it really isn't a given. As all we know about it is Souls go to it after death, but past that, yeah, nothing. And if Brandon keeps the same viewpoint, it will never be explained past it just being a "thing". It was mostly a consideration done to get back to the idea of Four and how the Dawnshards could be different ideas for every realm, which if incluing Beyond, would be 16 Aspects. But it is kinda a crackpot theory, pretty assumptuous.
  23. Well it is still considered one of the Four Fundamental Forces, even if it is not a force according to general relativity. I am well aware of how Gravity is often considered, no need to explain it all to me or get so hostile. I am just using the agreed upon terminology. Fundamental Forces and Fundamental Interactions and such. It is the common terminology to refer to Weak Force-Strong Force-Electromagnetic-Gravity connections and correlations, even if Gravity isn't necessarily a force in how its modeled. I was considering The Beyond as a Realm, as mentioned in my post. Yeah, it isn't actively called a Realm, but my connections and such don't work if it isn't considered one. Though mostly due to my ideas of the 16 Aspects being very tenuous and reaching to begin with.
  24. Rather be a Knights Radiant, because I would enjoy having the company of a Spren and have that close bond. I would also prefer it due to the healing factor and how I could use it for changing my body and such, which Mistborn cannot do as well or as efficiently as a Knights Radiant.
  25. This was just a rabbithole I went down as a joke on a Discord Group Message, but I kinda think I am actually onto something and want to share it online. Albeit organized in a more coherent manner. Don't be too harsh, I admit it is quite a stretch and wanted to do it for fun mostly. ------ So, we all know how there are 4 Dawnshards, and we could say that there are 4 Realms, Physical, Cognitive, Spiritual, and The Beyond. So, with that said, I noticed some connections between things. So 4^2 is 16, and there are 16 Shards. Well, going off of Sel and Roshar, we can see the presence of 16 in Pre-Shattering days. And I can see ways in which we can connect Adonalsium to 16, in how Dawshards could permeate all 4 Realms, and have separate traits in each of them. In the Physical Realm they could be with the Four Fundamental Forces, and take on different aspects of Creation in the other Realms, this would make for 16 Aspects in total. One can also see that Yolen, where Adonalsium originally created humans, has Two Ecosystems, Trune and Fain, well 2^2 is 4, and this idea can be backed up by how Taldain System, where Taldain also has Two Ecosystems, likely inspired by Yolen, and if you count the number of Celestial Bodies you have Two Stars, One Moon, and One Planet. This making up Four in total, further backing up by idea of the connection of 2 and 4. 2^2 = 4 and 4^2 = 16. This shows that 16 did come from Adonalsium and is (maybe) associated with the Dawnshards. --------- Separate idea of the importance of 4, 4 Realms, 4 Dawnshards, 4 Dimensions, (which encompass everything that is) 4 Fundamental Forces, (which control how the world works) 4 Basic States of Matter (which all partakes in) 4 Elements in Buddhism and Classical Greek beliefs 4 Letters of the Tetragammon (and Adonalsium is named after Adonai, one of the names of God in Judiasm) 4 Nucleobases in DNA (which makes up the code of how animals operate, like how Dawnshards are like rules of Reality) 4 Basic Operations of Arithmetic (through which all math can be done and reality can be quantified and have its rules described)
