Self-Awakening would be very hard, given to do so you would have to be very Invested, and thus resist Awakening. This does not get easier as you get stronger, as it would just strengthen your resistance to it.

Someone should try to ask Brandon about this, and see if he wants to use one of these in the coming Nightblood book. He does have an equation for Awakening planned out, why not for Heightening levels? Well, we know that Breaths come from Endowment, in a sense they are Endowment, but I did just see the whole Peacegiver's Treasure to be mostly like, followers or those that support their studies giving their own Breaths.

It is actively stated to be closely related to Rioting, and to the effects of Ashertmarn and Naergoul.

We have seen that Vasher has been able to survive for quite long on Roshar, and still have Breaths by the events of Rhythm of War, and Brandon has said that Stormlight can be used for Returned. Just, they don't know how to use it for Awakening yet. Stormlight is very, very prevalent on Roshar, so just go to Roshar, it would be great for them due to how easily accessible Investiture there is.

It still lays the groundwork down quite solidly, I feel. I don't see issue in how he did it, it was just a lot of people trying to understand it, and the thing about the Breaths, yeah, Denth just lied, and it is very obvious when you look at it on a wider scale and especially when we see Vasher's POV.

As Chinkoln said, Nightblood is so powerful due to all the Investiture it keeps pulling in, and in how its destructive capacity is far less focused than that of a Shardblade, it wreaks far more havoc. If Shardblades are a focused blade, Nightblood is a nuclear explosion. Also, according to Brandon, and by looking at the time in which the creation of Nightblood would fall, which is still far past Aharietiam (Should fall ~400 years before the True Desolation), makes it most likely to be based on Shardblades. It is called Third Generation after all, Honorblades are 1st, Shardblades and 2nd, and Nightblood is 3rd.

Sh very much should be in the script. Various (untranslated, so not counting Returned names, which are translations), we have Vasher, Shashara, and Ashu, and also should have a Th as we see with Denth. X does exist, Lemex and Paxen, and Ch shows up with Chaps, however, we don't exactly have enough information to know what sound it is. Same with really all of the sounds. Like, for instance, Th can be θ̼ ,ð̼, θ, ð, θ̠, or ð̠. That is to say, Voiceless linguolabial fricative, Voiced linguolabial fricative, Voiceless dental non-sibilant fricative. Voiced dental fricative, Voiceless alveolar non-sibilant fricative, or voiced alveolar non-sibilant fricative. We also have to wonder if the long e phoneme in the language, as seen with Treledees, is recognized as separate by the script, that is, does it have a seperate glyph, a slight alteration of the same script, or reduplication of the same glyph, as shown in the transliteration. At least, assuming that the pronunciation of Edgli uses similar phonology to the Hallandren language (which I doubt, but it is possible that their language is influenced by proximity to what I assume to be some sort of Perpendicularity, which likely can effect language due to how Spiritual Realm-based Language can be in Cosmere), it can mean E is pronounced as ɛ (Open-mid front unrounded vowel)

If Denth is one of the 5 scholars, how did he survive without 1 breath/week?

As said by others, he still had a bunch of Breaths saved up from before. The requirement is not that you need to get one a week, you just need at least one a week on top of the Divine Breath. So, for instance, Susebron could go a very long time without being given more Breaths, he should have 75,428 going off of various statements, so could last for that many weeks without any extra Breaths. 527,996 Days or 1446.5 Years. So yeah, it is heavily implied he just has a lot stored, and takes it out to survive before storing it again. He had an absurd amount at the Manywar, and needs at least 17,004 to have survived without getting any extra. And also, yeah, a sudden influx of a bunch of Breaths causes a paroxysm of euphoria. This is how he managed to kill Arsteel as well as Denth, taking advantage of this temporary paroxysm. -
This is due to the fact that the large sun on Taldain is very highly Invested, and so is the light that comes off of it. The sand turns white due to becoming Invested. (Same spoiler-source as what Honorless posted) So he could still have it turn white via introducing it to Investiture.

I am wondering what words are chosen for other languages for various concepts. I am mainly thinking of, Breath BioChroma God King and Vessel Heightening The abilities from Heightening The different types of Biochromatic Entity Do the Returned have different names? Drab Lifeless Awakening Also wondering what pronouns are chosen for different characters, in languages that have more information encoded in them, like Japanese. I am just very curious about what other languages choose, as it is always fascinating, especially with some languages that can have more fitting words for the concepts.

Ah. That seems like it would work, but I don't think it would be anything like a normal Bondsmith, and wouldn't really be able to be considered as such. But the idea, yeah, should be possible.

The issue is that Honor is broken into pieces and, as far as we know, cannot be put back together. It is in essence like what happened to Adonalsium, except on a smaller scale. It was split apart, and the Investiture spread out as Splinters, and took on its own sentience as Stormfather, and a bunch of different Spren. Essentially there is a hierarchy of parts of Adonalsium Adonalsium (1) Shards (1/16) Splinters (1/x) Honor, a Shard, has been reduced into Splinters, and just as we don't know if Adonalsium can be restored, we don't know if Honor can either.

I kinda do see him a bit like Idris, but more scared, with the broken nose and everything. Also more wrinkles and grey hair, and slightly lighter skin. Idris in skin tone is more Makabaki, Alethi have dark skin, but it is described as more of a tan, and is compared to a mix between an Asian and pacific islander. But yeah, he is rather close to what I imagine in terms of hair style and facial structure. Edit: Oh you said Prof. Not Dalinar. Oops.

Does that mean that you can't split the Shardblade alloy into pure Tanavastium and (Koravarium? or whatever Cultivation's godmetal would be called) by regular metallurgic processes? I mean, that is how Harmonium works, the different Shardblade metals could possibly be entirely different God Metals. Made by them not truly alloying, but truly fusing together into a new thing.

As said before, we know each order has different alloys, in a sense. Which by looking at other WoBs and in-text descriptions, different orders are closer to different Shards, either Honor or Cultivation. We can see this in the way the Surgebinding table is divided, the top half is closest to Honor, and has male Heralds. Bottom is closest to Cultivation, and has Female Heralds. There are various other ways to divide it that I discovered, and various thematic connections, but none of those afaik are relevant to their degree of connection with certain Shards.

They are stated to be a mix of Honor and Cultivation, iirc. But yes, they are a Godmetal. Just not pure Tanavastium or Koravarium. But some mixture. Not sure what that would be as there isn't a Vessel for that fusion.

I don't see much that would happen during the time in Shadesmar, all of the previous flashbacks were hinted towards before, or shown as being important to the characters. Jasnah's past was shown as important in regards to her time as a kid with the sanitorium. Her time in Shadesmar was never shown as being especially important to her as a person.

Yeah, this is how I saw it, really. It was a mixture of him not knowing how long passed, and him kinda going too crazy to really give in. He also is likely deeply effected by his perception as the unbreakable and unbendable Bearer of Agonies. He is not perfect, he very much was bent and damaged, but never broke, as in never gave in. He is still mentally broken, and him not giving in was not necessarily out of him being impossibly resistant. -
While that does seem vaguely possible, we do know that Bondsmiths do not exist in the Odium Brands. Only nine are known, and Brandon confirmed Bondsmiths do not exist in them. Somebody else could find the WoB for me, as I am bad at looking for specific WoBs.

There really isn't one, I used a method where one subtracts between two numbers, and constantly go down until they converge in a sense. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 This shows that the pattern of 1's should continue, and we can also tell that they follow a predictable pattern, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 This is because we know S(n) = S(n-1) + 1, in this scenario. Thus shows that S(10) is 10. This, however, does not work if there is no consistent sequence at all. Which is the case with Heightenings. It also does not give the actual formula. That has to be found out in other, usually more complicated ways.

Yup, Felt. There is also Vivenna (Azure), Vasher (Zahel), Hoid (Wit), Riino (Riino), Nightblood (if you even consider them as such), Nazh, The Heralds, Galladon, Demoux, and Baon. Kaladin is sort of a Worldhopper, as he had his consciousness taken to Braize briefly, although it is very debatable if that counts as Worldhopping for a variety of reasons. Sixteen is also a Worldhopper. Although he is a side character only briefly mentioned.
