    There's at least one or two. Hermes, for example. I will argue for hours on end on why he's really the only good guy among the gods.

    All of that is true, but it needs to be countered with more examples of that there are the good gods too. I haven't seen the latest two episodes, though, which I'm going to fix sometime in the next few days, so I could be completely wrong and they've shown some stuff with good gods. I just worry that the last season will have problems because of this.

    My PMs are open, y'all, if you want to talk about absolutely anything. If you truly need to talk to someone and don't feel like you have anyone, I and plenty of others are here to just... talk. I can just listen if you need it. If the alternative is to suffer without anyone knowing about it, then please, please choose the easier route and talk. I won't judge you for anything you say, I promise. And if I don't keep that promise, stop me and slap me around.

    Today was a little rough for me, but... I think I've finally learned that there will be rough days. I've known it for awhile, but it finally struck me today that I will fail time and time again throughout life. It's a never ending process. And that's the beauty of life. It's a never ending tycoon game where we keep on improving where we lack, falling back and failing sometimes, but always aimed at trying to get back up to where we want to be.

    (Yes, I did just watch Iam Tongi's Monsters audition for American Idols. No, I'm not crying, you're crying-)

    "If you say so..." Thaidakar said softly as he left. Energy swirled around Platypus as he emerged in a room with a palatable darkness in it, a force of malevolence. A voice spoke softly in his head. Familiar, but not recognizable. "Remember the knife." Red energy mixed with the darkness forming... Darkness? But he had red energy instead of purple glowing in his eyes, wreathed around his body. His voiced hissed at Platypus, "Ready to die?"

    Well, not a different God. From my perspective, it's Jesus and Heavenly Father are two separate entities, but together with the Holy Ghost do all the functions of Godhood. Heavenly Father is definitely God, but Jesus and the Holy Ghost also fulfill part of the role.

    On my view of the Cosmere and capital G God, I think there are at least one or two that are right. For one thing, Dalinar. For another, Syl. Me, being me, believe that there is God in the Cosmere. This is basically from my heart, from my feelings when I've read the stories, when I say this, but I do think that God exists in the books and has influenced some events. Namely in regards to Dalinar, which is part of the reason why he's one of my faves. Not because he might be considered as representative of some form of christianity in the stories, far from it. It's because the way Dalinar talks about God, the way, at least that I have seen, God has been involved in his struggles and in his triumphs. Dalinar talks about a light sometimes. Just the way he talks about it... It's similar to how I've felt, it's similar to how my (and consequently Brandon's) church talks about feeling the spirit and receiving revelation. Now, I don't know if that is Adonalsium or the God Beyond or some other being, but what I do know for a surety is that if Brandon is doing something in similitude to (at least from my perspective) the real God, then it is not Hoid. I think that Adonalsium could possibly be similar to Jesus, in respects to that he was killed even though he was God. Perhaps he's risen again as the God Beyond, but that matters little to me lol. I doubt Brandon would ever make that canon, especially with how he's talked about there being no definitive answer that he will give. just want to say again, this isn't based off of any complex reasoning. This is just what I've felt when I've read the books and how I've thought about specific things. Feel free to disagree 100%.

    I read a thing about Elder Ballard the other day about how he was in a Sigma Chi fraternity and my first thought was, if there's ever a movie about him, Christian Bale should totally play him. (I'm joking, I'd never ever want him playing Elder Ballard-)

    And the scene froze. A hand laid itself gently on Platypus' arm. Thaidakar began to speak, but it wasn't the one in front of Platypus. "He wasn't lying, Platypus," He said softly, his cloak brushing Platypus slightly, "You could remain here and never have to deal with this again. It could all be over. However," Thaidakar said, "If you stay, it will all be over for your journey and you will never achieve pure balance. And, yet..." Thaidakar turned Platypus around to face him. His hood was down, his eyes were those guilt filled eyes that Platypus remembered. Those eyes that had seen much and done far too much for their liking. "If you leave, you will never have peace of the soul again. There is balance in all things. You have had happiness, but you also have need of removing happiness from yourself to save TLT." Thaidakar nodded, "But I know you have chosen to leave and to help TLT. You are wiser than I ever was." He snapped his fingers and a swirling portal appeared beside him, "If you go through this, you will enter the next trial."
