Piraites of the Caribbean: At world's end.
It's an interesting movie... It's definitely the worst of the original trilogy directed by Gore Verbinski, but it's still fun, if a bit lackluster at parts.
Now... what if we could change that?
What if there were a change we could make that could make it a better film?
What if it made Davy Jones the main villain of this third movie instead of Cutler Becket, yet with Becket still being a major threat?
What if Davy Jones and Calypso had a son and that son was Cutler Becket and, to find Jones, Jack had found Becket and asked him where Jones was. It would've been a flashback sequence sometime during the movie, probably a prologue. Jack and Becket would've had a fight, Jack winning and almost killing Becket before Becket tells him where his father would be, most likely. Jack disappears, leaving Becket screaming Jack's name, "I'll find you one day! One day I'll kill you and you'll regret the night you attacked Cutler Becket!" Something like that, anyways...
Just imagine all the tension in the scenes where Jones and Becket are in the same room... just think about how much better Davy Jones's role would've been in the film, rather than being a flustered bad guy outmatched by the east india company, he would be a villain attempting to fight his own son, though failing because of his love for Becket's mother, Calypso.
Ahhhhhhh... so many things could've happened...

I disagree on the grounds that the entire third act was just one massive, over-the-top, batschnapps insane final battle with incredible music, choreography, and SFX; which is really all you need out of a Pirates movie.

True, that is the basics, but I think that you also need a more believable plot line, especially for the precedent the first to films had. They ruined Davy Jones a little bit for me.
