    Keep in mind that this samples rules from a couple different kinds of rummy. So this probably isn’t what someone is talking about when they say “rummy”. But the basics — runs and sets, and getting rid of all your cards — are there.

    It’s not really that there’s a lot of rules, just a lot of jargon. If you’re ok with being a little out of the loop your first couple of games, I’d recommend giving it a try. (Just don’t go inactive.)
