Szeth Pancakes

Okay. So, I feel like I've finally gotten a hang on Hollow Knight - I beat the False Knight and am now working my way through Greenpath. Sorry about the... strange status updates I posted yesterday - I literally did nothing but stare at my computer all day, and that just doesn't do great things for my social aptitude.

But now I've gotten a good night's rest, and I have to say - this game is awesome! I'm terrible at it - I've died countess times, and I'm only at Greenpath after five and a half hours of trial and error. However, that just makes it all the more rewarding when you finally finish off a particularly tough challenge.

The song that plays when you go near the Shade gives me unhealthy amounts of anxiety.

The Shade is also a neat - if slightly frustrating - game mechanic. I've lost so much Geo from dying before I can reach it - I guess I'm thankful that the Geo doesn't just disappear when you die, but...

The art is stunning.

There's a surprising amount of exploration and secret-finding for a 2D game. I think my favorite part of the game is the satisfaction of discovering new things and completing the map.

Yeah, that's about it. I'll update further once I've gotten deeper into the game. But it's 10/10 so far!
