Yeah, sorry, didn't have much time today I feel like the elim doc would be coaching Ver better at this point, Drake pushed Mippo before Coco revealed, so I'm going with Penguin

Glad my logic was correct It was nice not misexing you for once Coco Drake I wonder who the third elim is here. Ver is very odd, but odd does not an elim make. I'll try to do some analysis tomorrow

Yeah, I was working on a rather long post that I lost unfortunately. I've got two things. Why does e!Coco choose Drake of all people to go after here? They could chose anyone, and they chose an experienced player who will threadbrawl. Coco is also feeling very similar tonally to when we've pushed v!Coco before imo. Therefore: Star

QF79 Cycle 3 - I Love Democracy
The Unknown Character replied to Doc12's topic in Sanderson Elimination
The best explanation for a countertrain is that the elims have decided to bus/not oppose Fizz. Doing so would implicate them after his flip, so not pursuing him or even being on the train is much safer -

The Unknown Character replied to Doc12's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I'm not really concerned with elim 3 right now. That's a low priority imo when we don't even know if Fizz is e. That's why I didn't like the comments about the elims not caring about the Fizz train. He was one vote from a tie, which means he's completely safe if an elim was voting him or two elims are coordinating. Considering he didn't/hadn't self pressed, he really was in no danger. Until my vote appeared to threaten him, which presumably caused Coco to save him -
QF79 Cycle 3 - I Love Democracy
The Unknown Character replied to Doc12's topic in Sanderson Elimination
You were chosen as Fizz's countertrain Myst never said I was mindbladed until I voted (AFAIK, and I think I would have noticed) I explicitly stated that I didn't have any reads, but I had an idea. That was this plan. Why would I say I had an idea if I was an elim defending my teammate? I'd just say I suspected Fizz. Also, everything you said could have been true with me being v. There could still be an e!inhibitor who rbed you, Coco could still be e not wanting to vote Fizz. I didn't hammer either, I voted with a half hour left, that's not hammering, that's giving plenty of time for reactions, which I was looking for and got I'm not sure 100% on how PMs work this game, but if your PM hasn't been made yet you can switch your action -

The Unknown Character replied to Doc12's topic in Sanderson Elimination
And so my plan is revealed So, here's my plan My vote doesn't count, but nobody knows (I didn't expect my mindblader to claim, that's a powerful role and you probably shouldn't have claimed tbh). That means I can make it seem like Fizz is in danger without actually putting him in danger. If Fizz is v, it changes nothing really, if Fizz is e, it would smoke out his teammates into defending him (my hypothesis is that they figured the village would take tie it up or even take Fizz out of the lead entirely). My estimation currently: Fizz/(Myst and Ver) not e/e, emphasis on Myst because he doesn't reveal the mindblade if he's e. Coco definitely doesn't look good in my estimation either. In fact, the way Coco was seeding doubt about the Fizz exe already seems even more e/e indicative. But, all of this hinges on e!Fizz, which, though indicated by Coco, isn't guaranteed. As my motto has been recently, we must exe the secondary train. So, in conclusion Fizz -
QF79 Cycle 2 - It's Treason, then!
The Unknown Character replied to Doc12's topic in Sanderson Elimination
This is the correct definition It can work, but it has to be under very specific circumstances, the Gazelle has to be a reasonable kill target (therefore not under much suspicion, limiting the utility), and they can't do overtly elim things We were a little busy losing We have done more gambits as neutral/village than as elims though, that is true Edit: I have no clue who to vote here tbh. Actually, I have an idea. Fizz- 84 replies

QF79 Cycle 2 - It's Treason, then!
The Unknown Character replied to Doc12's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Me and Drake were exactly the people I was thinking of, yeah Penguin maybe too In my experience with gambits, they don't go through unless everyone is on board. A little bit of hesitance stonewalls them for some reason (I've tried to get my team to do WGGs so many times and I don't think we ever actually did one) I think its the opposite actually, probably a villager reaction testing. That would be a bizarre play for an elim to make- 84 replies

You get used to it I had a long run of them, but they tend to balance out in the end I wouldn't hard clear Twin, but definitely a non-Newtonian fluid clear If an elim team actually WGGed d1, immense respect- 84 replies

QF79 Cycle 1 - All Under Control
The Unknown Character replied to Doc12's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Hmm. Any reason? (No reason/random counts, I'm just wondering) I don't think statistics quite work that way when it's 100% GM decided, but I still agree.- 125 replies

QF79 Cycle 1 - All Under Control
The Unknown Character replied to Doc12's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I almost made my roleplay character a delver. Someone did that last Skyward game (which was a top tier elim game on my part btw, so this needs to be a top tier village game to make up for it) Yeah. So. Uh. To hypothetically make that hypothetical person's life easier, let's use less PMs! Hypothetically of course I was not scheeming, though I can neither confirm nor deny if I was scheming- 125 replies

QF79 Cycle 1 - All Under Control
The Unknown Character replied to Doc12's topic in Sanderson Elimination
False advertising! I only joined for murdererous humans! In light of this news, I am now taking over as Serial Killer. I will be obtaining a factional kill every turn and winning as the last person standing Rude I was busy, doing, uh, things Tbh, I don't think PMs are going to get much use this game. They tend to be pretty hard to utilize when they're restricted like this Fellow slug person!- 125 replies

@Archer I used a spreadsheet for voting in these games: It worked very well and could definitely be useful for a rerun of this voting mechanic. The only problem is that it looks ugly without spreadsheet coding, but it's not particularly hard to calculate even without

It's a shame when the consensus is right but still not enough to get the vote. I think that this Ruleset would work well with the spreadsheet voting system I've used in the past Edit: Curious why @|TJ| revealed the Obliviate

So you think voting villagers is e!indicative (sure, you say it's NAI bit that's not what your comments and reads say), man do I have something to tell you about this game Especially when mine are basically statistically expected I think Wahr and Mint are pretty clear teammates, what with giving Ink the +2s that saved them this cycle I'd probably guess a low active as the fourth to explain why they didn't also upvote Ink What even is this We're voting Prefects because a prefect has to be elim. There's two left and one of is both widely village read and brought this PoE to our attention We have to vote an elim today, and a prefect (Ink) is by far our best shot Uhhh You wrong? Except I kinda agree, just for different seasons. I can't excuse Mint giving their only plus to Ink. At least Wahr gave their +3 to TJ, but the fact that they're both at 2 to seem less obvious is incredibly suspicious to me
