  1. almost every episode of dwight, there is a part where i run away saying "cringe cringe cringe, nope nope nope." i don't know if others do this, but it is very common for me
  2. me: see's socially awkward bookworms "this is the perfect place for me"
  3. on the coppermind it says that a radiant's healing is taking how they perceive them self, and matches their spiritual and physical selves to it, so as long as Dabbid doesn't see that as part of himself, which we know he doesn't, he should be able to heal from it
  4. granted, for the next 4 weeks, your feet are stuck in cinder blocks i wish for 5000 minecraft squids to fall on the white house
  5. regarding nightblood, i will also note that rayse didn't have to worry about it until a year ago, he had his big plan that he thought was unbeatable, and then he had to rewrite it, but he's probably used to using his future sight for his planning, but he can't really do that now, because all the important people are near Renarin, and so he can't see their future's. and finally, when he went to mr. T, he was stressed by how bad he'd failed, and probably didn't want to think about anything, because for the second time in a year, he'd been defied by a simple mortal who was crucial to his plan. (i'm not mentioning when mr. T looked at his plans, because he didn't realize he'd been tricked)
  6. nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i thought that no one would dare give me that bane
  7. granted, you're stuck in a suit of armor as heavy as shardplate, but it doesn't regenerate, and the only way to get out of it is to break it all. good for you. i wish that all of the books Brandon Sanderson is planning on writing come out now
  8. i think that all that todium did was take some memories of minor and mostly ignored encounters with wit so that he could better understand how wit views odium. my main evidence for this is that he lost his perfect pitch, and todium mentioned that "It's all about giving you what you expect. Even a being of thousands of years can be tricked."
  9. maybe he denounced it in some way that makes him incapable of providing the surge of adhesion
  10. Me: sits quietly while trying to think of evidence to counter this. i did consider that
  11. i'm sure that adhesion is not just a surge of honor, because bondsmiths brought humans to roshar, and honor wasn't on ashyn.
  12. in RoW, when questioned, Raboniel states that adhesion is not a true surge, because it is only of Honor, but other surges are present through the Cosmere, but earlier in the book it mentions that bondsmiths brought the humans to Roshar, so that means that it is not only of Honor, so, has Odium been lying to the fused, or something? you can discuss, critique, or support this theory. Note: if you have firm evidence against this, or don't like the theory, don't just shut it down, kind of ease it down, because that gets me feelin' sad
  13. normally, i would ignor this, but the heralds do still have a connection to their honorblade, this is proven when ishar dismisses and resummons his blade to get past a block, without the limit of ten heartbeats between summons, so while it's still unlikely that this happened, it is good to look into it.
  14. kalak was a very fun character, especially how he was overall very lighthearted. also, CURSE YOU SEKEIR, YOU HONORLESS HONORSPREN, your a jerk kalak was definitely a highlight of the boo
  15. i thought that the first ideal made you a squire, allowing you to us surges near a higher ideal radient, and that the second ideal gave you access to surges without being near a radiant
  16. i'm just going to this straight and simple: stop hating on Navani, we get it, you don't think she made good decisions, but first, everyone makes bad choices, in some cases stupendously so, but this thread is about where she goes from here, not why she is the worst character in the Cosmere, so stop trying to make people see it that way, and rant to yourself, not people that hate it. also, have you considered that she didn't consider that anti-light could kill radiant spren?
  17. i think that tod and cultivation will start working together for one reason or another, because it's extremely unlikely that cultivation will just sit around. she obviously has some kind of plan, and is going to put it into action
  18. if it were a truth, she would have gotten her shard-plate in words of radiance, because from what i can tell, all orders of radiance get plate at the 4th ideal. i thought about that too. i mean, what else would a 11 year old say as a truth. "i like the sun", or "i like to draw". it's really funny to think about it
  19. i don't think all deadeyes would instantly be brought back, because when BAM was captured, not all spren were turned into deadeyes immediately
  20. no, Odium wanted Kaladin to commit suicide, because kaladin couldn't be defeated in combat, and kaladin wouldn't join odium and kill the people he wanted to save. i mean, his 3rd ideal was to protect even those he hates, i don't think he would kill those he loves
  21. i think that when BAM is freed, all deadeyes will be able to be revived, and Maya will have a strong enough bond to be revived virtually immediately
  22. granted, they jump onto your head and refuse to get off i wish for delicious chocolate that no-one steals
  23. i really want Dabbid to be a bondsmith, if only to heal his mind. but if he became a radiant in general then that would be fine.
  24. the coppermind says that shallan is on her 4th ideal and admitting to killing her mother was not one of them also, the child lightweaver truths, that thought is incredibly amusing
