  1. okay, thats fair. as i said unlikely. but i'm still sad that elhokar died and i want him back
  2. i think that it wasn't testament that killed tyn because, no screaming. radiants hear deadeye blades screaming, and shallan clearly did not. this may be different for the original radiant, but i'm not sure. anyway, her blade never screamed. so she has only ever summoned pattern in the series other that when she killed her mom
  3. unlikely, but what about elhokar, i mean, odium could have convinced him that he's the almighty, and was "giving him a second chance" (turning him into a fused) and then could just leave him until tod realized he has the perfect opportunity, and if you think about it, i think rayse would want more fused because his current ones are insane
  4. to teft, the one who died at the hands of a friend, knew he was loved. and to everyone else, don't be hard on yourself. if teft can forgive himself, so can you, and he'd want you to
  5. not sure if some of these are unpopular but 1) really liked the climax for kal, because it was really different. i mean, WoK, he runs in and saves dalinar, WoR, he flies in and fights szeth, OB, he battles amaram, but RoW, it wasn't a challenging battle for kal, but just, acceptance, and really tender. i'm all for a good fight scene, but this was a well done and wonderful shift 2) still want a moash redemption arc. he definitely did wrong, but still, it would be nice 3) i agree, not enough levity and jokes from characters. 4) not enough dalinar and jasnah. they were just, excluded.
  6. have you played ori, like ori and the blind forest what cosmere series is your favorite what cosmere book is your favorite what non-cosmere book is your favorite
  7. v27.1 professional french bulldog windrunners flew under the larkin temple to placidly meet yet another sleeping flaming returned Dakhor Mistborn Inquisitor Awakener.
  8. granted, it grows at an inch per hour sideways. it steadily creaps along the ground, destroying anything in its way i wish for a horde of 10000 cats to appear in new york and just run through the streets without breaking anything, just because i want to see how the public react
  9. at least for the 5th book, but i think it will be much bigger after the time skip between the front and back half.
  10. i think that nale just wasn't in the mood, and, if he saw (or sensed, i mean, he caught a shot from a shardbow at point blank while in combat) he could summon it, because as noted by rlain, a radiants shardplate is always around them, just not always visible. so he could summon it at any time without any hindrance. also, i'm not entirely sure that skybreakers get a blade, unless i missed something. the only skybreaker we've seen with one was nale, and, correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe it was mentioned that he reclaimed his honorblade, and other than that, we've only seen Szeth, who has nightblood, so his spren may not want to be summoned, but unlike other radiant spren, it seems that his normally remains away, and just checks up on him, but again, it could just be due to nightblood
  11. the problem with typing messages, it's harder to see sarcasm
  12. the nightwatcher can't give nightblood, because szeth has it
  13. maybe it's because they are immortal, and stopped living with how rigid the language is. i'm not sure how serious i'm am right now
  14. 1) not entirely sure, adolin is fun, and syl has a very similar personality to mine, but like @yulyulk, i would really want to be friends with szeth or kaladin just to support them. though when i comes to syl, i might have to pick her because she's just like my childhood imaginary friends 2) honestly, taravangian. i don't agree with his utilitarian motives, but i understand them and his perspective on them, i get scared by everything, mostly jumping from heights i know are safe, and so if i had the choice between taking crazy risks that i don't think i can do to save everyone, or to do all these bad things, that i can almost guaranty will work, i would do it 3) kaladin i think, i mean, his depression is sad and all, but when he fights it's epic, this opinion is only strengthened by RoW 4) cultivation and tod, because for tod, mostly his past, but also, i really want to know their motives, and what actions they'll take. 5) again, not completely sure, like, some people don't like different characters humor, but me, i look at a joke, and if i get it, i laugh, if i don't, i try to figure it out, and then laugh, if sometimes they just say something funny, i laugh, i'm the worst critic in the world, when i try to critic someone, the words become gibberish, and other times, i just find reasoning 6) moash. once. i've said this in other threads, i can't hate people, especially characters, moash included, the only time i hate a character or person is in the moment, like when teft died, or when my brother does something i don't like (there is currently one exception to this). so moash, i'd give him my best punch (i lied before, if the first punch wasn't satisfying enough, i'd do it again, and repeat) and then i'd try to convince him to take his emotions back and comfort him 7) uuuuuuummmmmmm, maybe lift? that the closest i can think of, and it's because she acts younger than she is, she has a reason though, and i don't, also we're both about the same age 8) they're all realistic, i don't know who's the most realistic 9) no one, the closest is lift or syl, but not really 10) absolutly no idea, the closest i can think of is comparing jasnah to my older sister, because they both seem pretty perfect, but in reality are good at hiding that they're overwhelmed. my sister is way nicer though.
  15. don't want to start a argument, but lets just note the 3rd ideal of the bondsmiths, if i must fall, i will rise a better man. this seems more than a little perfect for a redemption arc. to this, i feel that this could be why she would bond him, his growth would be accepting his pain and humanity, and cultivation could use this to teach the nightwatcher, teaching another the importance of something often strengthens it for you, it's shown in movies, books, and i've honestly experienced it, so i feel that cultivation would see this as the best for her. i do see that moash has for now stopped his ability to grow by giving up his humanity, but if he gets past that, then his growth would spectacular. i completely understand why you doubt him, and i hate the things he did, but 1) this is a thread where we're theorizing, and 2) he's hit rock bottom, and that is the best place to start, from where you'll see and understand the importance of your growth. personally, i wouldn't be satisfied if he died in the next book, or if he were just a character that roams around doing nothing and the dies. also, this is the perfect opportunity for cultivation to get a helper. it's easiest to prune a bush with clippers, and she could use moash as hers. also a line that could be seen as foreshadowing, when moash meets with odium, moash remarks on how people are starting to believe that he's his avatar, and odium says that he wouldn't bestow such an honor on a mortal. who's to say a different shard wouldn't? also, i never said this theory was likely, but just that it was intriguing. i'm pretty sure this is the longest post i've done, so i'm sorry if it sound's like a rant.
  16. on the bright side, both shallan and kaladin it seems have for the most part gotten to the peak of their mountain, and won't get hammered anymore.
  17. okay last night i actually had a bizarre, but interesting theory. what it was moash i don't know if i'll be hated for this, but i don't completely hate moash, and moash doesn't seem like he'll die yet. it would be really cool for him to get a semi-redemption arc, and he could act as an agent of cultivation. on top of this, due to his power over connection as a bondsmith, he could possibly go to other planets, or just work around roshar. lastly, he kinda has a reason to go to the nightwatcher, because he's now blind. when i came up with this i was really excited by it, and it seems pretty plausible. anyone got any thoughts on it?
  18. wait, what is that, i can't think right now
  19. granted, you feel like your being watched all the time for the next 3 months (your not, but) i wish to be a rithmatist
  20. if it's shin then as a joke king of wooden trails killings of wandering truthless knights of war trapped (maybe some stuff regarding the recreance) the in world book may relate to the shins perspective of nohadon, so king of worthy trust, king of wondrous trade actually, i just had a thought, last i checked there was a shin who was opposed to BAMs imprisonment, so it may be a book they wrote, these ones are just jokes but, king of warm trees, kaladins oathstone WHAT?
  21. oh, i thought that they could go in spoiler boxes, it's removed now
  22. okay, i think that if the radiant were intelligent then they would lash away quickly and then spy on them with their spren to learn more (an ability we are vastly under-estimating) and form a strategy on how to break their defenses, but i feel that the fullborn would still win, due to the fact that they can compound every ability they have one more clarifying question 6. does the radiant have the ability to make a perpendicularity
  23. i'm really sad that the rithmatist isn't in the cosmere. i want hoid to be a rithmatist so BAD, but it will never happen
  24. lets note that the oaths are to build you up, so they mostly would just need to fit the second (first unique) ideal, if they could swear like 2-3 ideals at once, they don't fit that order
