Random Bystander

Elsie let go, starting to feel freaked out. "T-terrance?"

She nodded, looking unconvinced. She was holding onto Terrance's arm.

Elsie sniffled, scared. "Do you think he's gonna be ok?"

Elise just started sobbing.

"I had a nightmare. I was walking in the field, and then the land started disappearing and the sky went all ominous and scary. Terrance showed up while I was panicking, and then there was this spooky voice that was all like "don't go to the underworld. Beware the traitor." And then everything went dark, Terrance slipped, and..." She started to cry. Elsie grabbed his arm, hoping it would get a reaction out of him.

Elsie frowned, also concerned. "Terrance? Did something happen?"

"Oh. Ok." She said. She curled up into a ball.

"Jenny?" Do you know if I can leave the nightmare without waking up?"

She nodded. "Ok." She said, tears still streaming down her face.

"Well, I was alone, and then the ground started disappearing. Then Terrance showed up, and this voice was all like 'dont go to the underworld. Also there's a traitor' and then everything went dark, and Terrance slipped. I tried to help him but..." Her eyes started watering. "He'd rather die, apparently."

Elsie heard, and sat up, wiping her eyes. "H-hello? Is anyone there?"

Elsie heard something, and scrambled away from the void, tears still streaming down her face.

Elsie was on her knees, sobbing in the darkness.

"TERRANCE-" She screamed.

"Terrance? Please. I can't... I don't want to be alone. Please. Please... Terrance? You still there?"

"Please. I don't want to be alone. Don't leave me. Please." She begged, desperate.

"Or, you know, you could grab onto my hand and I could pull you up." She said, a level of desperation entering her voice.

She paused. "Oh. Right. I forgot that for a moment there." She said sheepishly.

"DUDE. IT'S LITERALLY TRUST ME OR DIE." She yelled, panicking.

"Why not? This is a possible life or death situation!" She said, freaking out a bit.

"Just grab my hand! Please!" She said, holding out her hand for him to grab.

She let out a cry of panic. "Terrance? Please don't die." She said, scooting back a bit.

Elsie immediately started feeling around until she grabbed one of his hands, and tried pulling him up.

"TERRANCE?"
