Random Bystander

"Please don't die." She said, silently crying.

Elsie, on the other hand, has no idea that Terrance was still holding on. Due to this, she was panicking.

"Terrance, please. Don't go."

"Don't die... Please don't go... I can't watch anyone else die. Please..." She whispered.

Elsie panicked, and her crying intensified a bit. "Nooooooooooooo."

Elsie let out a strangled sound, and started crying.

"What's he talking about?" She whispered to Jenny and Edgar.

Elsie kept hugging him, hoping he'd somehow gain some comfort from it.

"Oh no!" She gave him a hug, knowing it probably wouldn't help. "He's sad."

"Well, maybe he'll snap out of it by himself. Or we could try the blood stuff..." She wrinkled her nose.

Elsie looked at Jenny with excitement. "What happened? Were you two able to talk?" She gasped, excited again. "Did you become friends?" She asked, grinning ear to ear.

"Ok." She said, a bit disappointed.

"Oh."

She let out a gasp, suddenly getting excited. "Do you think I'll be able to go find them when we go to the underworld?"

She shrugged. "She was old. I loved my grandma, but now she's probably with my grandpa! Which means she's probably happier than she was with me." She said, smiling.

She beamed at him. "Thank you. I haven't had a hug since before my granny died." She said.

"Oh. That makes sense. What does it taste like?"

Elsie looked horrified. "There's... I... Why?"

"So, basically, we have either magic healing bread that causes combustion, or blood. That's... Wow. Just wow."

"Again: what?"

She paused, then nodded. "I'm sorry what?"

"Don't worry about me." She said immediately. "I don't wanna be a burden, you have other things to worry about."

"Ok." She said. She sat in her seat, and hugged her stuffed sheep
